At the Yamamoto Institute in Buda-pest air purifying and filtering de-vices were used for patients suffer-ing from the following diseases: • Allergic rhinitis• Asthma bronchiale• Chromic respiratory diseases (emphy-

sema, chronic bronchitis)• Respiratory problems of chronic cardi-

ac diseases• Cancerous diseases (lung cancer) • to increase the standard of living of

the healthy patients

Our experience with the air purifying and filtering systems applied in the groups listed above was the following (first phase of the examination). Pa-tients used the devices for 2-3 weeks as a result of which their personal observations were: • Increased efficiency of inhaling• Decreasing level of heavy breathing• Decreasing irritation level regarding the

eyes and the mucous membrane of the nose with patients who suffer from allergy

significantly improved but, of course, devices were used as a complemen-tary besides their medication)

Objective parameters such as vitality ca-pacity, FeV, FIV were also improving to a different extent depending on the indi-vidual and the nature of the basic disease� At our institute the device was applied on patients with the following diseas-es (second phase of the examination): • Acute respiratory rheum• Chronic respiratory diseases (asthma

bronchiale) in their acute and chronic phases

• Adjuvant application for those suffer-ing from allergy

• Asthma bronchiale• Sinusitis maxillaries• Laryngitis subglottica • healthy volunteers • Smoking communities at home or in

offices at work• Families with young children

...The application of the device is useful even in the case of acute respiratory problems but medical treatment was also necessary. the individuals’ state of health was improv-ing as a result of applying the device even during its application� • however, in the case of the chronic

types the patients themselves report-ed easier inhalation and inspiration experience, which was also justified by the results of the objective vitality capacity measurement�

• On the basis of this, the adjuvant ap-plication of the device was effective in many cases� Side-effects were not experienced during the application process�

• In less serious cases only the device without the supplementary medicinal treatment was proved to be efficient for the healthy group whose comfort level increased according to the eval-uation based on VAS scale�

• We could also notice the increase of the speed of bronchi flow, which also resulted in improved breathing�

• Breakdown of application by age: from newborn to 89 years old so it can be applied in all age groups�

• Several patients did not experience any coughing fits while using the de-vice-it can be attributed to pure luck as no firm answers can be given at such a short notice�

• Again, a greater number of young patients (children) with asthma need longer time to assess the impacts� As during winter time infection is more frequent and allergies are less com-mon, these factors can also contribute to its impacts� In several cases parents could experience that it was easier to stop the asthmatic fit while using the device and the torturing coughing fit lasted for a shorter period� In many


cases these fits also became less fre-quent�

• No special expertise is necessary for the operation of the device; it is harm-less (although parental supervision is necessary for young children due to the electrical appliance)�

• the design of the device is very at-tractive, hygienic, made of nice ce-ramics in different colours when com-pared to similar devices available in the country�

• Users’ manual attached to the device is proper, fair, contains a lot of information, user-friendly and understandable�”

“...The device was placed close to pa-tients with bronchiectasis and purulent bronchitis. The device was put into con-tinuous operation for two weeks. We continued the examination in the case of patients discharging a great deal of purulent phlegm in which pathogenic agents could be detected by microbio-logical examinations. The following bacteria were found in the discharge samples: Staphylococ-cus aureus, Klebsiella group, (Klebsiella pneumoniae), (Klebsiella rhoinoschler-omatis), Pseudomonas aeruginosa....In the third phase of the examination the sterilising liquid was employed in a stronger concentration and when re-filling the liquid sterilising solution was also added. This time no pathogenic agents were detected during the control examinations.

AIR WOLF® channels back air through a damp filter� It is oper-ated by LLDS system, i�e� it recycles air to be purified in vacu-umised space several times� It can be operated from mains by means of a 12V= or 24V= controllable adapter� Its ventilating fans are silent and value for money�
