Raleigh not only is an amazing skating coach, but is also an extraordinarily enthusiastic and committed youth leader. The kids love him ! They look up to him and enjoy his leadership skills, his approachability and his gregarious personality. Raleigh was advantageous at prov iding me with any and all information relative to the success of The Tampa Electric Pancake breakfast. This breakfast included the chil dren and staff of Apollo Beach, Northdale, Country Place, as well as the Brandon Skate Park. His attention to detail, ensuring I had al l contact names, addresses, phone numbers and a head count was what helped make this event such a success! I would like to congratulate you on employing such an outstanding individual as Raleigh Barnes! Having a such a qualified, tale nted and professional leader such as Raleigh, is an asset to this park and your organization as a whole.” - Jodie Brett, Tampa Electric L ighting Dept. “I would like to personally thank all the agencies that contributed to success of the Mobile Swimming Lessons.13 of the child ren at Ruskin Recreation Center were able to take advantage of this outstanding program this week. The instructors were wonderful with the chi ldren and gave them skills and memories that will last a lifetime. All of the children made great strides this week. Many were afraid of t he water and would not even submerge their head. It was amazing how much they accomplished. They were all so proud. This is program, as many of you know, that is near and dear to my heart. 13 other children will get to take advantage next week, and I am so thankful that e veryone has seen that the children in this area really need the lessons. I would also like to thank the Ruskin Rec. Center Staff and my Supe rvisors, for supporting me my goal of making this program become a reality.
