Carol Barton is the Head of Global Commercial Property for AIG. Most recently, Carol was Senior Vice President, Underwriting and Reinsurance with FM Global. In this Chief Underwriting Officer role, she had global leadership responsibility for all underwriting and reinsurance activities. Carol’s insurance career started with the former Allendale Mutual Insurance Company, which was merged with a number of other companies to create FM Global in 1999. She assumed roles of increasing responsibility within the organization, including: Vice President, Manager of Affiliated FM, where she drove the effort to expand the mid-sized account operation globally, and Senior Vice President, heading up commercial lines for FM Global and leading the significant and profitable growth of the portfolio. Carol has more than 30 years of experience in Commercial Property insurance and is one of the industry’s top executives. Ms. Barton attended the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania for their AICPCU Advanced Leadership Education Program. She also holds the distinction of having received the Business Insurance “Top 100 Women in the Insurance Industry” award in 2000.

Kenneth A. Travers is a Global Business Impact Specialist for the Commercial Property business of AIG. In this role, he is responsible for technical engineering in support of Highly Protected Risk (HPR) clients. Kenneth has 34 years of experience as a senior fire protection and catastrophe risk engineering professional, with proven international experience in all aspects of property and business continuity risk engineering, analysis and mitigation for process fire hazards and catastrophe events. He earned a B.S. in Fire Protection from the College of Engineering at the University of Maryland and an M.B.A. from Goldey Beacom College. Kenneth also holds the CFPS, CET and ARM professional certifications.

Stephen McKay is the Head of Loss Prevention Engineering for the Commercial Property business of AIG. In this role, he is responsible for engineering practices and loss prevention client service worldwide. Stephen began his career in the Oil & Gas sector, where he was involved in asset protection and reliability studies for installations around the world. He has had a 24 year loss prevention career with experience across a variety of sectors and loss prevention disciplines. Specific activities have included major hazard assessment, EH&S corporate program development, management systems, merger and acquisition due diligence and quantitative risk assessment. Stephen holds an M.B.A., Master of Science and an Honors Degree in Chemical Engineering.

Troy Priesmeyer began his career with Dresser-Rand in 2005 as the Director of Global Risk Management. In his role, Troy is responsible for the firm’s worldwide property and casualty insurance programs, Enterprise Risk Management and travel security. Prior to joining Dresser-Rand, he was the Director of Risk Management for the Wackenhut Corporation and the Risk Manager for Office Max. Troy earned a B.S. from Texas A&M University and an M.B.A. from the University of Florida.
