Opening the pool during lockdown mode even with limited usage, has been very successful. Everyone attending has been very cooperative. The only ones not cooperative have been some renters. SECTION 4

Greetings to all our "Hunkered Down" resi-dents. This has not been an easy time. The good news is the pool is open. There some specific rules that must be followed in order to maintain a safe environ-ment. We can never be too careful.

May seemed to be" let's put up a fence

month". Please remember, if you are plan-ning to put up a fence you need to go through the Ar-chitectural Committee. There are specific guidelines that must be followed. We also urge you to have a for-

mal survey done. Your neighbor may not be concerned that your fence is a few inches over the property line; however if he/she sells the house a sur-vey is required and the new owner may require you to move the fence. This would be more costly than pay-ing for a survey.

There is responsibility associated with a fence. The fence must be maintained. If it is PVC any mold accumulation must be removed. Weeds close to the base must be removed. Fallen and broken slats on a wooden fence must be repaired and/or replaced. Fences do require care!

Happy Father's Day to all our Section 4 dads. Please stay well and healthy.

Your Section 4 Board

SECTION 6 THE LAKES

Hope Mother’s Day was a wonderful day and we all celebrated with our families and had our masks on. Praying that this virus goes away for good and there is a healing in our country. It has been a struggle to be home but at least Millpond is a great place to be. Many of us have sat near our beautiful pool and enjoyed the company of friends and family in this quarantine. Let us all be safe and healthy in this time. We have many things to be thankful for. Let's hope they find a vaccine soon. So take a walk, read a book, or even enjoy TV.

Also we have an anonymous donor that has so graciously donated our refrigerator, new beautiful black Plant stands, Palm trees, and many colorful plants to Millpond for our pool. It is absolutely gor-geous. We wish to thank her for her generous gift and how beautiful she has helped to make our pool.

We at millpond are grateful. . Also we wish to thank Mary Hermann and

Bert for all the hard work cleaning of the pool while we are waiting for our new pool service. The pool looks sparkling clean. Thank you both. And we can't forget Gabe for always being there for making sure the lawn service people are doing their job. Always plenty to do.

Your board Mary Gabe Lolly Margaret Carol

June ~ Happy Father’s Day & Happy Summer! Also it is Hurricane Season, please be prepared!

Good Day Everyone: I trust everyone is doing well, even during this difficult time. I hope that everyone is en-

joying the pool, now that it is open on a limited schedule. This is our first sign that things are slowly getting back to normal. Unfortunately, we had to cancel the Memorial Day event. We are hoping to be able to resume activities in the Fall. Follow our Facebook page and signs in the com-

munity for updates. Stan Kowal

Social Chair

UPCOMING EVENTS:

**Please note for all future events we will be taking it month by month to determine if event will go on or be postponed/cancelled. This depends on the status of the C-Virus. We are looking at opening the clubhouse on a very limited basis sometime in the future. There are many things to consider before it can be opened. John Timpanelli shows: July and August taking off. Hopefully we can start back in September and continue with the fall shows and then continue in 2021. This depends on what is going on with the Covid-19 virus. The format will be the same. The next Social Committee meeting will be on June 10th, Wednesday at 6:00pm. (Note the time, please!) We will be having the tables & chairs arranged with social distancing in mind. Also please wear a mask if you feel comfortable to do so. Let me know if you have any concerns. Susan Gabriel, Administrative Assistant

FOR EVERYONE’S INFORMATION: Most of the events at Millpond Estates require buying a ticket or signing up in the White Book by a certain date, that is because we have a deadline which we either have to buy the food or let a caterer know the # of people attending. We ask that everyone please be remindful of that deadline date and try to buy your ticket or sign up before that date. Thank you in advance for your cooperation!

SECTION 6-A-Millpond Lake Villas Hello Everyone, Kim Rexroat is taking a well-deserved break this month and I am filling in for her. We are in an unprecedented time. Our “lock down”, although unpleasant, has given us the oppor-tunity to reflect on really important matters of the heart and soul. Let's give thanks for all our blessings, including all the things we take for granted. We should all be grateful that we are in an area that has not been greatly affected by the pandemic. Our area is beginning to open up again and that is a good thing. However, let us never forget what happened and let's remember to be kind and caring toward everyone. It is spring and our newest neighbors have been very busy. Joanna and Maciej Kondraciuk, Sandy Lindberg, and Mike and Kathy Vaughn have been landscaping their front and back yards. They look fabulous. John and Joy Hagen have been remod-eling their home, and it looks beautiful. Thanks to all of our neighbors for sprucing up your yards and keeping “our little bit of paradise” looking awesome. Please keep Priscilla Muralo in your prayers. She was scheduled to have a surgical procedure, but because of the pandemic it had to be postponed. Now that things have opened up she is waiting to be scheduled for the procedure soon. As you all know, we had to cancel the Annual Meeting because of the pandemic and we had some board resignations recently. On May 18th we had a teleconference meeting to appoint new board mem-bers. The new Board of Directors is as follows: Sandy Lindberg – President Earl Klema - Vice-President John Hagen – Treasurer Ellen McClellan - Secretary Colette Beal – Director We hope to have the Annual Board of Directors Meeting sometime in June. See you in the neighborhood. Hopefully, we will be completely out of “lock down” by next month. By: Fran Sander

SECTION 7

Hello Neighbors!

Please practice social distancing and self-isolating as there are some members in our community who are immu-nodeficiency. Masks do help. If you are not able to find them in stores or do not want to drive around risking exposure to this novel Coronavirus you can order them on Amazon.com or find some on EBay.com

If you prefer to shop for groceries and have it deliv-ered to your home for a small fee, Aldi and Publix offer food delivery via Instacart. Go to their website and look under "delivery." You will have to sign up for an account then choose your items online. Some may be in limited supply or sold out but it is an option for those who want to pay for the convenience of having groceries delivered to their home. If you use delivery service please make sure to tip the delivery driver well.

Please keep your distance from others when walk-ing, biking, or running in the Millpond Community. The Life you save may be your own.

Stay safe out there. Until next time, if you have any

questions or concerns about Millpond Section 7, please con-tact our property management company Parklane Real Es-tate Services LLC, directly at (727) 232-1173.

The View – From Section Three

While the Covid-19 crisis continues to keep our families on shutdown up North we thank God that things are heading in a better direction here in Florida. As part of entering into phase one our clubhouse pool area provisionally opened and both my wife and I were able to go out and get haircuts! Sadly the Memo-rial Day events needed to be postponed as a precau-tion to protect our residents. I have been advised that a possible future event on Veteran’s Day may be held in its place.

At of the writing of this column there are no events scheduled for Millpond in June; however as summer temperatures rise and we pass on to Phase Two of our governor’s plan that may change. If you have any questions, call either First Choice Manage-ment at 727-785-88787 or Susan Gabriel at the Club-house 727-376-1991. Also, please feel free to contact me about anything you would like to have me put in the newsletter. Thanks again to our neighbors for their help and friendliness especially through these last couple of months. Remember that we are all in this together becomes more than just a saying when we put it into practice!

Happy Father’s day to all the dads! “You cannot fix the problem if you’re consumed with fixing the blame.” Pastor Rick Warren Peter Caligiuri [email protected]

SECTION 2

Hey everyone! A different Memorial Day will have passed be-

fore this newsletter reaches your hands. Hopefully, you were able to acknowledge in your own way those who have gone before us and especially our veterans who paid the ultimate price for our freedom. We are forever In their debt.

Life is opening up a bit for us in Florida after our two month sheltering-in-place. I trust that each of you have been and will remain safe and well during this strange time, exercising care and caution. Although it has been awhile, I have been encouraged to notice many neighbors out walking, families riding bicycles to-gether, folks turning garages into gyms, major garden-ing projects blooming, home repairs being completed, neighbors greeting neighbors maintaining social contact while adhering to the guidelines of physical distance. Hopefully, we are past the dangers of Covid 19 and will have a break before the killer hornets arrive! YAY 2020!

Summer is fast upon us! On a recent walk, I spotted ducks and their babies, a rabbit or two, a large black snake sunning, and heard some beautiful bird songs. Happiest of all, our fabulous pool has reopened! There are some new rules about its use which are post-ed at the pool.

We have new neighbors! Carson (from Revere Circle) Gillman's mom, Sharon Pena and her adjacent neighbor, Julie Burks have created some beauty you can't miss in their respective homes on Balhar-bor. Suzanne Baxter is settling into her new home on Boston Circle. WELCOME! We are glad You are here!

Well, let's see what happens next! We are al-ways glad to hear any news....any at all!!! We still need a volunteer to distribute the news-letters for Section 2. Without that help, they may be picked up outside the office in the club-house. Safeguard your well-being! Enjoy the summer! Be Well!

SECTION 5 Happy Father’s Day! We hope your special day is filled with joy and warmth! We are all more than aware of the changes the Coronavirus has brought to our lives. However, the Archi-tectural Committee and First Choice continue to process Architectural Permits and conduct Property Inspections. The Architectural Permit form is available online. Please remember to submit the form BEFORE you begin the work. Submit your paint samples for approval. If you are constructing a fence, submit a drawing showing the place-ment of the fence in relation to your house, and relevant measurements. Remember to check with Pasco County to see if Permits are needed, and be sure you know where easements and property lines are located. We urge all residents who have palm trees do a careful inspection: many palm trees need a trimming. Some trees have large spikes which can easily cause injury if they fall off and hit someone walking by. We have also noted appliances and televisions left at the curb. Special arrangements need to be made for pick-up. Deed Re-striction enforcement is everybody’s responsibility—notify Danuta at First Choice if you see violations. We all have to work together to maintain our property values. Hurricane season is also upon us, and we all know the safety rules. Now is the time to make preparations. This is also a good time to check the condition of your American flag and replace it if necessary. There is a box at the Clubhouse for worn flags. They will be handled properly. Architectural Meetings will resume when we are told that it is safe to have meetings. Notices are always posted in the Clubhouse, on the SECTION bulletin board. We also want to remind you about public safety. If you hear loud shouts or screaming, or observe other suspicious or troubling activity, call 911. For noise com-plaints call the Pasco Sheriff Administrative phone num-ber:727-847-8102. Contact information for appointment requests to re-view and inspect Section 5 Documents and to report Deed Re-striction Violations are as follows: Danuta Dzikowska, Manager, First Choice Association Mgmt. Inc. 4174 Woodlands Parkway Palm Harbor, Florida 34685 (727) 785-8887, [email protected]. First Choice is our agent and they have ALL of our official records. Individual Board members do not keep official records. There is a practical business reason for this: Section 5 Board members are all volunteers who serve without compensation. If a document is needed to conduct Sec-tion 5 business, it is available during routine business hours at First Choice. If a Board member is out of town, hospitalized, or unavailable, Section 5 business gets done. It is NOT dependent on the health or presence of a particular Board Member. All Section 5 Documents, Including Architectural Permits, are online

at millpondestateshoa.com. By: Kathy Logue

MILLPOND TRACE Hi Neighbors! Hope you are all well as we continue to deal with Covid-19. I have been told that people in our neighborhood are all Healthy, very happy to report that! We had a Trace meeting on Wednesday in the parking lot of building 3, we all brought chairs and snack tables. It was a very informal but produc-tive meeting with our new board members., Morgan as Director and Cathy as President. This month Cathy has asked to contribute to this column as she has a few things to tell us: 1. Bert (handyman) has been busy cleaning out, fixing, or replacing downspouts; cleaning out gut-ters; replacing walkway light bulbs; power washing; and scheduling FGUA to raise meters above the mulch, if your water meter outside is buried under mulch, it needs to be raised. Please contact our Management Company if you see something that may need his attention. 2. Problem again with residents not cleaning up after their dogs. You MUST clean up after your dog! No one should have to see, smell, or step in what you leave behind. Also, dogs are to be walked in the grass near the street, not near the building. 3. Remember to not leave items next to the dumpster. Has been good the last few weeks...let's keep it that way! 4. It is nice to see so many children outside playing and so many residents walking. As you drive in and out , please slow down and watch for adults or children that may be in the parking area or on the street. Please everyone, be careful going out, wear your mask at all times. You never know who you will run into just going up to the Dollar store! Be safe! Ciao for now! JoAnne Boyle-Fisher
