INTRODUCTION The hiring and employment of Filipino crew need not be complex and can be extremely cost-effective.

We are licensed by the ‘Philippine Overseas Employment Administration’ (POEA) to recruit, employ and administer seagoing staff onboard vessels worldwide.

Our many years of experience working closely with our long term partner United Philippine Lines allows us to provide an extensive service that is second to none.

CREW MANAGEMENTOur dedicated Crewing and Operations team in the UK and the Philippines will continue to look after all of your ongoing employment and administrative requirements, including:

• Certification & Documentation

• Employment & Payroll

• Visas & Medicals

• Travel & Deployment

POEA regulated employment contracts (SEA’s) are created, signed and submitted accordingly to the relevant authorities and to the individual crew member.

Monthly payroll for each person is established ensuring that all statutory government contributions and home allotments are calculated and processed in a timely and correct manner.

Flights can be arranged in advance alongside the relevant visa applications. We also liaise with the vessel/manager and dedicated port agents around the world, to ensure a smooth and hassle-free journey. ONGOING SUPPORTOur support does not stop here. When a Viking Crewing Asia crew member is employed, we provide support and assistance to the crew member and his/her vessel. Every crew change, every visa required, every urgent matter that arises, Viking Crewing Asia is on hand to ensure a swift response, as well as ensuring the general wellbeing and welfare of all crew members.

ALREADY HAVE A POEA AGREEMENT IN PLACE?Our full recruitment facility is still available for vessel operators to use, who already have a POEA agreement in place. Should you wish to just recruit Filipino nationals on an ‘ad hoc’ basis then this can easily be achieved under your current agreement or you can move your current POEA agreement to another administration such as ourselves.
