Two scheme switching exercises every year, witheffective dates on 1 May and 1 November;
Members may switch for not more than onceevery calendar year;
New appointees may join scheme switchingexercises only after 3 months of joining theUniversity; and
Once members elect to change the MTS, all theiraccrued benefits in the existing MTS should beredeemed and transferred to the new MTS.
