    The government of the united states of America is thefederal government of consitutional republic of fiftystates thta comprise de Unites states of America.

    The federal Government is composed of three distinctbranches: Legislative, executive and judicial. Eachbranch has its own powers and areas of influence.

    Legislative Branch: This branch consist of the congresswich is responsible for making the federal laws. ( Thesenate and The House of representatives)

    Executive Branch:The Executive power lies with thePresident who is given the job of executing, enforcing,and administering the laws and government.

    Judicial Branch: Their job is to interpret and apply USlaws through cases brought before them. (SupremeCourt and federal courts)

    The U.S. House of Representatives What is

    representative?

    Referred to as a congressman or congresswoman, each

    representative is elected to a two-year term serving the

    people of a specific congressional district.

    Their duties are:

    - Introduce bills and resolutions.

    - Offer amendments.

    - Serve on committees.

    The number of voting representatives in the House isfixed by law at no more than 435, proportionallyrepresenting the population of the 50 states.

    To be elected, a representative must be at least 25 yearsold, a United States citizen for at least seven years andan inhabitant of the state he or she represents.

    Senate.

    In contrast the Senate is made up of two senators from

    each state. There is currently a total of 100 senators(two from each of the 50 states), who each serve six-year terms.
