DINING/WINE ROOM:This dining and wine room features vintage French Quarter travertine flooring, a geometric, handcrafted coffered ceiling with pecky cypress wood and a custom driftwood patina finish, a floor-to-ceiling glass wall displaying chilled wine storage, a cut stone, dry-stacked accent wall, custom wire rack shelving with wood cabinetry and expansive windows to allow for natural lighting.

STUDY: A modern, industrial, masculine study was the concept shared with the homeowner for this space. He wanted to be in a relaxed setting, surrounded by a special collection of heirloom books handed down by past generations. The modern, linear fireplace feature wall blends a textural stone mixture of pewter, charcoal and cream limestones. The antique reclaimed-wood beams and dark walnut cabinetry create a backdrop for the handsome furnishings.

ENTRY: The entry is a sophisticated palette that meets natural, rustic textures. The vintage French Quarter travertine defines the entry with a chevron pattern that highlights the gallery groin vaults, which define the architecture. The beautiful natural light in the atrium highlights the modern abstract art and classic entry table, introducing a transitional statement that is carried throughout the interior of the home.

BACKYARD:The separate fountain was designed to be the focal point from the front foyer. This quaint outdoor living area of the yard provides a cozy fire feature accented with a blue glass media center to tie back into the materials surrounding the pool. The water bowls provide a sleek stream of water and a breathtaking view from all angles of the home. The native custom blend of Lueders stone that was used on the home was introduced to the fountain and landscape walls as well. Artificial grass accents were added throughout the design for a unique source of greenery.

POOL AREA: This backyard oasis was designed to be an extension and inspiration of the home. The pool coping features Lueders limestone and the surrounding decks are textured and stamped concrete, along with a travertine paver overlay in the loggia. The blue tones of the glass tile featured at the spa and pool waterline complement the aqua blue Pebble Sheen finish of the pool. Luminous blue glass beads were incorporated throughout the finish to add a touch of sparkle to the waters. The black battered slate water feature wall not only adds a contemporary flair to the overall design, but also provides the client with a white noise effect.
