Kong Shin Tsay (kung shin zai)
A red-lined, red-rimmed vegetable.
Shiann Tsay (shen zai)
Looks like blades of grass.
JEOU TSAY (JOE ZAI)
A vegetable with flowers and edible leaves.
TORNG HAU (TUNG HOW)
Long, thin, and colored vegetable with bumps that look like a cucumber.
SHEAU HWANG GUA (SHOW HWANG GWA)
Has a spongy looking inside and it tastes best when fresh.
SY GUA (SEE GWA)
A brightly colored, bumpy, and bittersweet vegetable, "bitter melon."
KUU GUA (COO GWA)
Pale yellow gourds used for decorations.
