Opportunity as Volunteer Patients

WED FEBRUARY 20

Physical Therapy Onsite Structured Clinical Exams (OSCE) will be conducted on 20th of February, 2019, from 8:30 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. We invite you to participate in this OSCE as a Volunteer Patient (VP). Your role as a volunteer patient will include acting as a mock patient in one OSCE station for the duration of the exam. This could include a PT student interviewing or assessing you as they would a real patient, or providing some aspect of treatment.

You will receive information about the patient you will be playing in advance. If you have any injuries that may limit assessment in a specific area please advise in your email, this way we can place you in an appropriate station. Note – For SKHS students who are interested in applyting to physiotherapy, this is a great oppoturnity to make connections with current students and professors in Queen’s Rehab Therapy. Please let Professor Ian Gilchrist ([email protected]) know if you are interested in volunteering for this opportunity. Your participation will be highly appreciated.

COFFEE, SNACKS, DRINKS AND LUNCH ARE ALL PROVIDED!
