Ms. Melissa Blair is a native of Pickens, SC. Upon graduating

from Pickens High School, she attended the University of

South Carolina where she was a member of The Mighty

Sound of the Southeast Marching Band and studied under

Dr. Constance Lane. Ms. Blair furthered her studies at

Southern Wesleyan University where she participated in

choir, wind ensemble, and jazz ensemble. Upon earning her

B.A. in Music Education from Southern Wesleyan University, Ms. Blair began her

career as a band director in the state of South Carolina.

Ms. Blair is a member of NAfME, SCMEA, SCBDA, and

Kappa Delta Pi Honor Society. Ms. Blair is currently seek-

ing a Master's Degree in Educational Leadership from

Winthrop University and will graduate in December 2014.

Ms. Blair currently resides in Simpsonville, SC.

LeBron & Savannah Welcomes Home Baby Girl

Zhuri!!!!

LeBron James (29) and his wife Savan-

nah Brinson (28) have been married

since September 2013. They are high school sweet-

hearts and they have 2 sons LeBron James Jr (10), and

Bryce Maximus (7). Savannah Brinson gave birth to

her third child Zhuri on October 22 2014 in Cleveland Ohio on a Wednesday evening.

LeBron and Savannah are so excited to welcome their third child, and first daugh-

ter to join the family!

Ashton Kutcher and Mi la Kunis welcome baby g ir l !

Ashton Kutcher and Mila Kunis had their first child, Wyatt Isabella on October 1st, 2014. Many

people know both actors from the sitcom The 70’s Show and other movies, as well. The two have

been working together for a while...ever since Kunis was about 14 and started on That 70s Show

as Jackie Burkhart. She is also known for the voice over Meg Griffin in 1999 on Family Guy.

Kutcher has been in numerous well loved movies and shows. For example: That 70’S Show, Two

and a Half Men and in the newest movie Jobs. Ashton Kutcher, as well, is known as the host for

the popular show Punk’d. These two have known each other for a while and finally started dating

in 2012. Then after a year, Kunis announced she was pregnant

with their first child (whose name they picked out before Kunis

even ended up becoming pregnant). Kutcher says that Father-

hood is the greatest thing on earth.” He seems really excited

about this and that’s great. They’ll both be appearing in some

great movies this upcoming year.

Dwayne Michael Carter Jr.

Most known as Lil’ Wayne, he was born on September 27,

1982, in New Orleans, Louisiana. Lil Wayne has been creating

music since he was a child, and is considered among today's

most talented rappers. He grew up in Hollygrove, one of

New Orleans' poorest neighborhoods. Lil Wayne started

rapping at the age of 8. He later met brothers Bryan and Slim

Williams, the founders of Cash Money Records, who were

impressed enough with his skills to give him one of their busi

ness cards. Ambitious, Wayne continued to call them until

they took him under their wing and let him hang around the

label's offices.

Tomorrow is the PS4 system soft-

ware Update v2.0. It adds features

such as SharePlay, YouTube integration, USB music

player, ability to find players you may know, sorting

options for your game library, and themes for your

home screen! This is the biggest update ever—

codenamed “Masamune”. Don’t forget to watch the

walkthrough video of the SharePlay feature.

Exactly What You Want from Xbox:

Fantasia: Music Evolved is a bright, colorful, multi-

player, rhythm party game. It uses the Kinect to em-

body the character of the Sorcerer’s apprentice from

Disney’s classic Fantasia. It mixes songs from Lady

Gaga and Lorde to Mozart and Tchaikovsky. The

story line of the game is all about transforming drab

and lifeless zones into vibrant and gloriously musical

environments. October 21st is when it hits Xbox One

and 360!

News from Nintendo:

National StreetPass Weekend starts 10/31. Nintendo has

connected almost 30,000 Nintendo Zone hotpots across

North America. If you bring your 3DS to a Nintendo Zone

this Halloween weekend, you can get up to 6 StreetPass tags

from places near and far. You can collect puzzle pieces for

your panels in Puzzle Swap or you can pick up enemy tokens

for StreetSmash in Super Smash BrosTM . And don’t forget

to keep your 3DS with you whilst you’re out trick-or-

treating!

South Korea A ferry captain is facing

the death penalty for the

death of 304 people. Lee

Joon-seok the captain of

the ferry has been

charged with “homicide

through willful negli-

gence” for abandoning the ferry as it went

down in choppy waters off the southern coast

of South Korea on route to the vacation island

of Jeju. The vast majority of the passengers

were from a single high school and 10 body

have not been found.

Russia Russia will turn its clocks for the last time on

Sunday to permanently adopt winter hours. It

will also increase its time zones from 9 to 11,

from the Pacific to the borders of the European

Union. The last three years Russia had been

experimented with keeping summer time per-

manent, but too many people complained that

mornings were too dark in the winter. At a

news conference in Moscow, representatives of

the Russian Academy of Sciences said that Eu-

rope would now be closer as the difference

between the capital and Greenwich Mean Time

would only be three hours.

STELLA MCCARTNEY

Stella McCartney is an English fashion designer. She is the daughter of former Beat-

les member Sir Paul McCartney and American photographer and animal

rights activist Linda McCartney. Born and raised in London and the English countryside, Stella McCartney graduated from Central St

Martins in 1995. A signature style of sharp tailoring, natural confidence and sexy femininity was apparent in her first collection. In 1997, she was appointed the

Creative Director of Chloe in Paris. Stella McCartney became interested in designing clothes as a youth. At age thirteen, she made her first jacket. Three years

later, she interned for Christian Lacroix, working on his first fashion design collection, honing her skills working for Edward Sexton, her father's Savile Row tailor

for a number of yearsIn March 1997 McCartney was appointed Creative Director of Paris fashion house Chloé, following in the footsteps of Karl Lagerfeld . In 2001,

Stella McCartney launched her own fashion house under her name in a joint venture with Gucci Group (nowKering) and showed her first collection in Paris. Stella

McCartney now operates 17 freestanding stores in locations including Manhattan’s Soho, London’s Mayfair, LA’s West Hollywood, Paris’ Palais Royal, Barcelona's

warn of the risk of getting sunburned. This law

came into order because people

would use a tanning bed and get

sunburned and they would sue

the tanning bed company.

Spotted Geckoes

Buy a 10-20 gallon aquarium with a secure lid. Don’t buy sand for the tank sometimes they might eat the sand

and this causes a problem. Make sure you have a heating pad specially designed for reptile tanks. Your Gecko

needs a shallow bowl for drinking and bathing. The water bowl should always be

clean and full ;also you need to keep it on the opposite end of the heat source. Mist your Gecko every other day. You

need a shelter for them but don’t get one from outside. You need a rock cave, log, or something around that area for

the shelter. Clean the entire enclosure once a week , if needed, or when you think you should.

Some major styling changes took place on

the 1957 Ford Thunderbird from previous

years. Inside, the instrument panel was rede-

signed with clustered dials plus new designs

to the all-vinyl upholstery and trim combina-

tions. Outside, the spare tire went back into

the trunk, which didn't occupy too much

room in the 5 feet by 5-1/2 feet space. 1957

would be the third and final year for the orig-

inal two passenger Thunderbird, and some

feel the third year was the best one yet. Af-

ter ‘57, Ford would do away with the two

seater sporty personal car rated at 300 and

340 hp (254 kW) respectively. 1957 sales

were 21,380, including three extra months of

production because the 1958 models were

late. The 1957 Thunderbird was the last two-

seater Ford sold until the 1982 Ford

EXPsport compact car.

Nightmare Dungeon

Considered to be one of the scariest and longest-running haunted houses in the Upstate, this attraction has been haunting people for

eighteen years. This is an old two-story farmhouse walk-thru attraction with real actors. There's also an elevator that takes you 300 feet

underground to the Dungeon of Lost Souls and a Tunnel of Terror that takes you through an underground tunnel.

Mad World Haunted Attraction & Zombie Shoot

Based in an eerie, apocalyptic world, this is the only place in the Upstate where you can hunt down and "shoot" live zombies. This interac-

tive experience is the one of the newest attractions. They have both a PG-13 and an R-rated experience so you can choose what is ap-

propriate for your group.
