The nights are getting longer. That of October 1st-2nd will be sleepless for Nuit Blanche, an all-night event that is open to each and everyone so that Paris’s inhabitants and visitors can welcome the arrival of the Fall.

A few days later the 16.74 square feet of vineyards in Montmartre will be harvested, 1762 gamay and pinot noir vine plants. Don’t laugh at the size of the vineyards. Wine is serious business here is France, which is why we have a Wine & Cheese party at both of our hotels every month.

At the end of October, those who love contemporary art will not miss the FIAC, a fair that brings together gallery owners, artists and collectors in Grand Palais and Petit Palais, two magnificent buildings that were built for the 1900 Universal Exhibition.

Come soon! We are looking forward to seeing you and sharing with you many other ideas.

See you in October.

And do not miss visiting us

on the third Thursday of November

when we welcome the Beaujolais Nouveau!

On the first Saturday in October, as the days shorten and autumn turns to winter, the Nuit Blanche event in

Paris offers an opportunity to see the city in a new light. Artists take over various areas of the city with

installations, exhibitions, street art, light-and-sound shows, concerts,

performances, staged scenes and creations exploring all facets of

contemporary art.

Public transport stays open throughout the night so that spectators can create their own

routes among the dozens of avant-garde projects put in place by international and

home-grown artists.

The Nuit Blanche was first organised in 2002, and, much like the Fête de la Musique, is a concept that has been taken up by other cities in France and in other countries, its popularity spreading all around the world.
