is a UK-wide online space where young carers can chat, share their experiences and access information and advice in a safe, fun and supportive environment There is a dedicated online support team

who are on hand to answer any questions and offer support and advice via e-mail or one-to-one

Like Babble,

matter.carers.org has been created to provide an online space

for young adult carers aged 16 – 25 to connect, share experiences and access support. The site brings

together young adult carers from across the UK, as well as those who work with young adult carers, via an online space which is safe, and fun. There is an online community team on hand to provide support as and

when needed, by messaging or email.

www.childline.org.uk is a private and confidential service

for children and young people up to the age of 19. You can contact a ChildLine counsellor about anything –

no problem is too big or too small. Call free on 0800 1111, have a 1-2-1 chat online or send an email. They also have a section

with lots of useful advice specifically for young carers.

Here you’ll find information and advice when you need it, entertainment and activities when you feel

www.samaritans.org provides a 24-hour phone service for anyone who wants to talk about how they are

feeling, day or night. You can talk for as long as you like, as many times as you like.

111 is the NHS non-emergency number. It’s fast, easy and free way of getting advice if someone is unwell. They will ask you some questions to find out what would be the best medical care for you/

the person you care for. NHS 111 is available 24 hours a day, 365 days a year. Calls are free from landlines and mobile phones.

999 is the official emergency telephone number which allows you to contact emergency services (e.g. ambulance, fire brigade, police) for urgent assistance

Also - I’m not sure if this is possible at this stage, but would it be possible to add a table at the back of the document which will be for an action plan (columns would just be something like - what is to be done, who will do it, when will it be done by)? I think I mentioned it a while back so apologies if you’ve already got this on your radar.
