THE THE CURRECURRENTNT
Lifeguards & Beach Services of NMB Dinners begin Tuesday, starting June 7
th.
Remember to take the lifeguards and beach services workers a snack and a cold drink whenever you go to the beach. Remind the lifeguards of the free Tuesday night dinners at our church each week at 7:00pm Let’s continue to show our care for the lifeguards by donating items like towels, sunscreen, toiletries, gift cards and prize items too. Prize items could be peanut butter, jelly, boxed dinner kits, cereal and such. These should be placed in the mission boxes and marked “FOR GUARDS”. School Supplies Yes, school is getting out soon but keep in mind the need for these items is ongoing. Watch for sales on these to help with the backpacks we donate to the many schools in our area.

Thank You!
From: The Fidelis Class of Bear Marsh Church in Mt. Olive, N.C. Greetings, We wish to say “Thank you” for the handmade crosses for Easter. They are a reminder of our risen Lord at Easter and throughout the year. In Christian Fellowship, The Fidelis Class of Bear Marsh Church
From: Bobby and Debbie Scott Thank you all as follows: Dr. Wayne Brown, Ron and Sandy Bruce, David Carter, Wayne Carey, Hank & Violet Crawford, Larry Frakes, Scott Harmon, Sandra Hawley, Brandon Martin, Beady Moore, Jan & Myron Pritchard, David Reavis, Joe & Nancy Register, Donald & Teresa Sapp, Gerald Smith and Catfish Stowe for helping on clean up day at the church on April 23, 2016. Thank Frank & Elizabeth Boulineau for donating the donuts. God bless all of you for taking your time to volunteer for clean up day at the church and yard work.
From: The Rauton Family Thank you for your loving support after Ransome’s death. Editors Note: A military service to honor Ransome’s life was held at Arlington National Cemetery in Arlington, Virginia on May 13, 2016 at 2:00 p.m.
From: Harrison Smith Dear Church Family, From the bottom of my heart I would love to say thank you. Because of the Lord’s work through your willing hearts I was able to raise all the funds I needed not only for the trip but also to cover the expenses of shots, vaccines, medicine, camping gear and other necessities. I cannot express the joy I received from the amount of love that each of you have shown towards me and the mission that God has laid on my heart. Because of you, the Lord will move in mighty ways this summer. In Christ, Harrison Smith
From: Ken & Karen Buckner Dear NMBFBC Family, Thank you so much for allowing us to share about our love for Zambia at NMBFBC!! It is so wonderful to be a part of what God is doing in Zambia. They truly love the Lord and they desire to see His Word spread in villages that have never heard the Gospel message, and its our pleasure and joy to help them! We thank you in advance for your prayers, and hope to see your sweet church family again in the future! Love in Him, Ken & Karen Buckner
From: Canadian Snowbirds, Lynn & Doug Henry To borrow a line from Robert Browning: “How do we love you? Let us count the ways …”
We love the warmth, friendliness, joy and sweet fellowship that abounds here.
We are blessed by the Sunday services and Tuesday night Bible studies.
We enjoyed going to hear Franklin Graham in Columbia with the group from this church, and also the one day seminar
on “sharing your faith”.
“God With Us” was a huge undertaking, and a real witness and outreach to the community.
As we once again say good bye to our “winter church home” and return to Canada, we say a big THANK YOU to you —
“How do we love you?!” As we count the ways, we pray that God will bless you as you continue to serve Him in this beautiful part of the world. God willing, we will see you again next year.

"Women on Mission" 2015-2016 WATCH WORD
"Then he called the crowd to him along with his disciples and said : 'Whoever wants to be my disciple must deny themselves and take up their cross and follow me' " (Mark 8:34) We are off to a good start following Christ. We have been very busy collecting food, packing shoeboxes, prison packets, hygiene bags, flip flops, school supplies, and giving to Teen Angels. Thanks to you we collected 25 hygiene bags and a lot of flip flops. The RA's, GA's, and Mission Friends are coming to a close for the summer. I'm sure our "Wonderful" leaders are ready for a break. They give of themselves every Sunday night to teach and lead our children to have a love for missions and our missionaries. Our two women’s mission groups "The Lunch Bunch Mission Group" and "WOM[issionaries]” will be taking a break from meeting. We will come back together to pack backpacks in August. Our church family is a blessing to me and as everyone can see a blessing to our community. Please don't forget when you go to the beach to share water and a snack with the lifeguards.
