Case eP and PS

Monday morning…

• Anna arrives at work and realises that she has forgotten her medicine at home

• She calls 1177 and receives information about the closest epSOS pharmacy

• She jumps in a cab and arrives at the pharmacy 10 minutes later

epsos

Pharmacy

Case eP and PS At the pharmacy…..

1. Anna identifies herself 2. The pharmacist requests for validation of the identity and receives a

confirmation from the Swedish NCP 3. After having obtained Anna’s consent, the pharmacist requests for

Anna’s list of ‘available’ prescriptions from the prescription repository in Sweden

4. The pharmacist also wants to have a look at Anna’s medication summary and sends a request for information

5. Before the medicine is dispensed the pharmacist reports the information on this dispensing event and receives a confirmation from Sweden
