The story of the train

George Stephenson the inventor of a train for travellers in 1825.

In 1825, new stage : Stephenson designed a machine that cruises at 30 kilometres per hour. The day of inauguration of the Stockton-Darlington line, there was a wagon with musicians : that was also the first train designed to transport people.

The first regular line of railroad was inaugurated on September 15th, 1830 between Liverpool and Manchester

The mythical trains The famous transcontinental such as the Orient Express or the Transsiberian which feed regularly litterature and fascinate the curious. Trains definitely not like the others!
