The role of INE within NSSThe role of INE within NSS• INE (NSS´s Central Executive Body) supervises and

co-ordinates the entire Statistics process in the country including the management & strategic planning of NSS and training of NSS staff

• Established in 1996, August by Presidential Decree• INE takes care of NSS statistical international

relations and training • Regular meetings with BM and Delegate Institutions• Annual formal planning meeting with all NSS

stakeholders including coop partners • Annual users´satisfaction survey conducted by INE

• Adjust the Statistics Act taking into accout the new UN international recommendations and our experience in implement the current Statistics Act approved in 1996
