Cannes Lions International Festival of Creativity is fuelled by ideas, and by the people who have those ideas. People come to Cannes hoping to discover the next big start-up story. Here’s what the programme gives you:
1. Revenue
Cannes Lions is all about what’s new and what’s next. Major clients and media agencies come looking for ground breaking technology that will give them a competitive edge.
2. Partnerships
With over 15,000 people representing major global brands, creative agencies, technology giants and media owners from across the world, the Festival has become a hub of relationship building and deal-making.
3. Advice and ideas You get access to a bespoke start-ups-only content programme featuring people who’ve ‘been there and done that’. Plus, you get access to all the talks at Lions Innovation – that’s three stages and hundreds of experts to listen to and network with.
4. Introductions
As well as access to the legendary Opening Gala, two beach bars and a handy networking app, you’ll be invited to a curated series of networking roundtables with the people and companies you want to do business with.

2. R/GA Start-up Academy Created in partnership with R/GA, this four-day marketing bootcamp helps 15 hand-picked, promising start-ups to sharpen their brand identity, focus their business plans and market themselves effectively.
3. Innovation Lions The Lion is the most coveted award in the advertising world. Winning one validates your start-up in the eyes of thousands of brands and agencies and opens up all kinds of doors.

The Start-up Programme:What is it?We’ve created The Discovery Zone in the heart of Palais II, Lions Innovation’s main venue, as a hub for start-ups.
For two days, you can showcase your product and meet prospects and partners in the ideas and networking hub of the event. At the Discovery Zone, along with 100 other start-ups, you become one of the main attractions.

R/GA Start-up AcademyHaving a great idea is only the first step. The R/GA Academy, run by the pioneering digital agency, is designed to ensure the very best start-ups have the best chance of making it – by building business plans, brand identity, positioning and a go-to-market approach. In one-to-one sessions in partnership with pioneering digital agency R/GA, participants unpick and re-focus their marketing strategy with workshops led by a host of senior marketers.
They will leave with a newly honed business plan, the skills they need to market themselves most effectively and a focused brand identity that will propel their business. Apply now! Only five spaces remain.
