It’s time to beat cancer at its own game by hosting your very own quiz fundraiser. Challenge your colleagues, mates, or your family. Flex those mind muscles and put the FUN in fundraising, all while raising life-saving cash for cancer research. This pack contains four rounds of thrilling trivia and should take around 30 minutes to play.  ‘Guess the picture’ is always fun, and ‘name that song’ is also a great addition. Just don’t forget to include some extra pieces of paper along with your answer sheet.  Ask your friends and family to promote the quiz and if you’re happy for your community to join, consider putting up posters in your local area. Remember, the more people that take part, the more money you’ll raise.  Get everyone to think of an inventive team name – you could even award extra points for the best one. You need to consider what the winner will get; maybe make a certificate or provide a group prize. See if any local businesses would be willing to donate a prize to the winning team or for the best team name. Raising cash from your quiz is easy. Invite your mates and family to take part at your house, host it at the office with your team, or go all out and hold it at a local venue.

Simply ask your guests to make a contribution to take part and use the questions provided.

We recommend charging each player £5, £10 or £20 to take part. You can either pay in the money you raise to your online Giving Page or get each of your players to text ‘Quiz5’, ‘Quiz10’ or ‘Quiz20’ to 70404* to donate £5, £10 or £20.

For each round we have provided you with the questions and answers, as well as an interesting fact for when you reveal the correct answers. We’ve also given the quizmaster some words to get the room listening and encourage your friends and family to put their thinking caps on.
