The Purafl Side Access System (PSA) is designed to

remove both particulate and gaseous pollutants for

general odor and corrosion control in commercial and

industrial environments.

The PSA offers Purafl’s patent -pending Posi-Track

technology, which creates a positive seal to prevent air

bypassand enhance fltration effciency.

Maximum Effciency: The use of the patent-pending Posi-TrackTM technology

offers a higher fltration effciency than other side access

system designs. The key to the Posi-TrackTM self-sealing

technology is the slanted tracking and corresponding

notch in the MediaPAKTM module. The weight of the

module forces it against the channel and creates a

positive seal with the tracking.

Custom Design: The flexibility of the Purafl Side Access System permits

customized designs for specifc installation requi rements.

A full range of size options, preflter selections and

particulate fnal flter alternatives are available for

customization Of your system.

As an alternative to pelletized media modules, the PSA is also available with PuraGRID flters containing

GridBLOK technology, Purafl’s newest gas phase-air

fltration medium. This revolutionary new flter is designed

to supply a large amount of chemical fltration with

minimal pressure drop, increasing operational

performance and energy savings. Easy Maintenance: Purafl’s Side Access Systems are tracked to house

disposable MediaPAKTM modules, which are factory

flled

with your choice of Purafl media. When the media inside

the module is spent, the old module is simply replaced

with a new one; no tools are required.

The Puraflter® is a combination chemical and particulate

flter that integrates Purafl® patented dry-scrubbing media

into a nonwoven fber matrix. Puraflters can replace

existing particulate flters in retroft or rework applications

as well as in new construction applications where

building codes and standards require outdoor air cleaning

for PM10, PM2.5, andozone. The integrated sodium

permanganate andactivated carbon media add chemical

fltration while providing the same level of particulate

control.

The PuraGrid® is a revolutionary fi lter that is

designed to supply a large amount of chemical

filtration with minimal amount of pressure drop.

This media delivery system offers increased

operational performance and energy savings.

The PuraGrid bridges the gap between Purafil’s

existing line of filtration products, enabling a

clean air solution for every application and

market.

GridBlok Overview: The GridBlok is a gas-phase

air filtration medium in the form of an extruded

monolithic block consisting of a large number of

small, parallel cells or channels. The GridBlok is

composed of essentially 100% adsorbent

materials allowing the entire composite

structure to function as a gas fi lter. Due to the

large number of cells in each GridBlok, the

contact area between the adsorbent layer and

the airstream that travels inside the cells is very

large. Furthermore, the cells are parallel so that

the flow is not obstructed and the pressure drop

across the GridBlok is extremely low

The cellular geometry of the extruded GridBlok provides a high surface area per unit volume

important for proper impregnation of adsorptive materials. The size of the cells leads to turbulent

flow and forces contaminated air into and through the gaspermeable cell walls of the GridBlok. It

also provides the residence time necessary to assure optimum contact efficiency and the

associated high initial and average removal efficiencies. As the air is forced through the GridBlok,

removal of Chemical contaminants takes place.
