Here’s the Sitch... The construction of the Baptismal Font is still on target, although the mobilization date may be

pushed back by one week to early July.

We have prepared the Community Garden area to begin creating a more inviting, contemplative place for prayer.

An exciting new beautification project is in the works! Further details to come in two weeks. Sincerely, Fr. Ken

Jesus blesses bread and fish and the miracle happens. Through this miracle we discern the immensity of our belief system. We believe because He says so, He makes it happen. It is thru His Most Precious Body and Blood that we have eternal life. In this ver-sion of the Eucharist during the early days of His earthly ministry, we see Him mi-raculously feeding about 5000 men, not counting women and children (we know that where men are, so are also women and children). This is what we believe, that through His blessing, the bread and wine become His Precious Body and Blood, the Real Presence. Let us come to Holy Mass often, even daily, so we may become holy and lead saintly lives. Filled by His Body and Blood, may we bring Him everywhere – into our homes, the workplace, the market-place, school, schoolyard, park – and that through our lifestyle, others may come to know Him. He Called us and the Spirit Gifted us so we may praise, revere, and serve the Father. Blessed are you! This time I want to call your attention to a series on the Eucharist that Formed has developed for our edification and sanctification. It is Lectio: Eucharist.

FORMED pick of the week

Go to holyspiritfremont.formed.org, or go to our homepage at ho-lyspiritfremont.org and click the link to be taken to FORMED. Our pick of the week will be on the top of the Community page. "The Lamb of God," "The Bread of Life," "The Body and the Blood

of Christ"... these are phrases we know from the Mass. But do we understand what they mean in the greater and deeper context of Scripture and Church teaching? Acclaimed author and teacher Dr. Brant Pitre rigorously digs down to the biblical roots of the Eucharist, through its foreshadow-ing in the miraculous events of the Old Testament, the Gospels, and Apostolic teaching. We'll dis-cover firsthand how Christ's Body and Blood are an integral and wondrous part of God's plan for our salvation.
