    Publishers Preface

Satan is now working with all his insinuating, deceiving power, to lead men away from the work of the third

angels message, which is to be proclaimed with mighty power. When the enemy sees that the Lord is blessing

His people, and preparing them to discern his delusions, he will work with his masterly power to bring in

fanaticism on one hand and cold formalism on the other, that he may gather in a harvest of souls. Now is the time

to watch unceasingly. Watch for the first step of advance that Satan may make among us.Review and Herald,

    January 24, 1893.

    NARROWED BY SELFISHNESS

There are moral icebergs in our churches. There are plenty of formalists who can make an imposing display,

but cannot shine as lights in the world. The Review and Herald, March 24, 1891.

The reason why Gods people are not more spiritual minded, and have no more faith, I have been shown, is

because they are narrowed up with selfishness.... It is not the abundance of your meetings that God accepts. It is

not the numerous prayers, but the right-doing, doing the right thing, and at the right time. Testimonies for the

    Church Vol. 2, p. 36. (CHS 40)

Yours in Christ Jesus,THE LAYMANS MOVEMENT

    Dear Brothers and Sisters;

Yet some refused to be converted. They were not willing to walk in Gods way, and when, in order that thework of God might be advanced, calls were made for freewill offerings, some clung selfishly to their earthly

possessions. These covetous ones became separated from the company of believers.Testimonies for the

    Church, Vol. 9, p. 126.

    NOT ONE IN TWENTY PREPARED

It is a solemn statement that I make to the church, that not one in twenty whose names are registered upon the

church books are prepared to close their earthly history, and would be as verily without God and without hope in

the world as the common sinner. They are professedly serving God, but they are more earnestly serving

mammon. This half-and-half work is a constant denying of Christ, rather than a confessing of Christ. So many

have brought into the church their own unsubdued spirit, unrefined; their spiritual taste is perverted by their ownimmoral, debasing corruptions, symbolizing the world in spirit, in heart, in purpose, confirming themselves in

lustful practices, and are full of deception through and through in their professed Christian life. Living as sinners,

claiming to be Christians! Those who claim to be Christian and will confess Christ should come out from among

them and touch not the unclean thing, and be separate

I lay down my pen and lift up my soul in prayer, that the Lord would breathe upon His backslidden people,

who are as dry bones, that they may live. The end is near, stealing upon us so stealthily, so imperceptibly, so

noiselessly, like the muffled tread of the thief in the night, to surprise the sleepers off guard and unready. May the

Lord grant to bring His Holy Spirit upon hearts that are now at ease, that they may no longer sleep as do others,

    but watch and be sober.General Conference Bulletin, 1893, pp. 132, 133. (CHS 40, 41)

    THE SOLEMN FEASTS(Special Edition)

The word of truth, It is written, is the gospel we are to preach. No flaming sword is placed before this tree

of life. All who will may partake of it. There is no power that can prohibit any soul from taking of its fruit. All

may eat, and live forever. (6T 19)

As Seventh-day Adventists we appeal from custom and tradition to the plain Thus saith the Lord; and forthis reason we are not, and cannot be, in harmony with the multitudes who teach and follow the doctrines and

commandments of men. (5T 389) In every temptation the weapon of His (Christ) warfare was the Word of

God a firm reliance upon a Thus saith the Lord was a sign that could not be controverted. So long as Christ

held to this position, the tempter could gain no advantage. (1 SM 228) Therefore, Before accepting any

doctrine or precept, we should demand a plain Thus saith the Lord in its support. (GC 595)

2 SR 289 Find your explanations in the Bowl, and you will have no trouble in knowing the truth, or of

avoiding the ever ready trap of deception. Thus the difficulty in knowing the difference between truth and error is

    eliminated. (2 SR 289)

11 TR 12 All present truth believers should now see the necessity of shunning every wind of doctrineregardless how plausible or reasonable it might appear to be. Remember the words: Behold, those that go

toward the north country have quieted My Spirit in the north country. (See p. 27 of Tract No. 2, The Warning

Paradox, -- Zech. 6:1-8.) Get your doctrine, Brother, Sister, only from the golden bowl (see The Shepherds Rod,

Vol. 2), and be not like the waves of the sea, driven with the wind and tossed -- be not carried about by the many

winds of doctrine that are blowing wildly from every direction to cause you to lose your way to the everlasting

    kingdom. (11 TR 12)

First of all, we need to always remember that the writings of E.G. White and V.T. Houteff must never be

interpreted in such a way as to contradict the Bible, but always to clear it. If we undeviatingly follow this

absolute rule of interpretation, we can never possibly have any trouble with the Rod or with any message the

Lord may ever send, according to 1 Ans. 23. Let us remember always to observe the inviolable rule that aninterpretation of one inspired statement must harmonize with all other related statements. (3 Ans. 41)

Now let us begin our investigation in

Nahum 1:15Behold upon the mountains the feet of him that bringeth good tidings, that publisheth peace.

O Judah, keep thy solemn feasts, perform thy vows: for the wicked shall no more pass through thee; he is utterly

    cut off.

6 TR 42 Be in the class of the five wise virgins, my brethren, and avail yourselves of this extra oil now

before your lamps go out and the door closes forever (Matt. 25:10). Anoint thine eyes with eyesalve, that thou

mayest see. Rev. 3:18. Sigh and cry for the abominations that be done in the church (Ezek. 9:4), that you may

prove yourselves worthy to carry the message to her. Then after you have cried out, O Judah, keep thy solemn

feasts, perform thy vows: for the wicked shall no more pass through thee; he is utterly cut off (Nah. 1:15, last

part), it shall be said of you, Behold upon the mountains the feet of him that bringeth good tidings, that

publisheth peace (Nah. 1:15, first part), and you will be Spared Through Butter And Honey. (6 TR 42)

The statement declared clearly, that after you have cried out, God commanded to keep the solemn feasts,

and to perform our vows.Let us connect this prophecy

4 BC 1138, 1139 Chapter 6:1-7 (Revelation 11:19). ISAIAHS EXPERIENCE REPRESENTS LAST-DAYCHURCH.[Isaiah 6:1-4 quoted.] As the prophet Isaiah beheld the glory of the Lord, he was amazed, and,

    overwhelmed with a sense of his own weakness and unworthiness, he cried, Woe is me! for I am undone;

because I am a man of unclean lips, and I dwell in the midst of a people of unclean lips: for mine eyes have seenthe King, the Lord of Hosts.

Isaiah had denounced the sin of others; but now he sees himself exposed to the same condemnation he had

pronounced upon them. He had been satisfied with a cold, lifeless ceremony in his worship of God. He had not

known this until the vision was given him of the Lord. How little now appeared his wisdom and talents as he

looked upon the sacredness and majesty of the sanctuary. How unworthy he was! how unfitted for sacred service!

His view of himself might be expressed in the language of the apostle Paul, O wretched man that I am! who

shall deliver me from the body of this death?

But relief was sent to Isaiah in his distress. [Isaiah 6:6, 7 quoted.] ...

The vision given to Isaiah represents the condition of Gods people in the last days. They are privileged to see

by faith the work that is going forward in the heavenly sanctuary. And the temple of God was opened in heaven, and there was seen in his temple the ark of his testament. As they look by faith into the holy of holies, and see

the work of Christ in the heavenly sanctuary, they perceive that they are a people of unclean lips,--a people

whose lips have often spoken vanity, and whose talents have not been sanctified and employed to the glory of

God. Well may they despair as they contrast their own weakness and unworthiness with the purity and loveliness

of the glorious character of Christ. But if they, like Isaiah, will receive the impression the Lord designs shall be

made upon the heart, if they will humble their souls before God, there is hope for them. The bow of promise is

above the throne, and the work done for Isaiah will be performed in them. God will respond to the petitions

coming from the contrite heart (RH Dec. 22, 1896).

Isaiah had a wonderful view of Gods glory. He saw the manifestation of Gods power, and after beholding

    His majesty, a message came to him to go and do a certain work. He felt wholly unworthy for the work. Whatmade him esteem himself unworthy? Did he think himself unworthy before he had a view of Gods glory?No;

he imagined himself in a righteous state before God; but when the glory of the Lord of hosts was revealed to him,

when he beheld the inexpressible majesty of God, he said, I am undone; because I am a man of unclean lips, and

I dwell in the midst of a people of unclean lips; for mine eyes have seen the King, the Lord of hosts. Then flew

one of the seraphim unto me, having a living coal in his hands, which he had taken with the tongs from off the

altar, and he laid it upon my mouth, and said, Lo, this hath touched thy lips; and thine iniquity is taken away, and

thy sin purged. This is the work that as individuals we need to have done for us. We want the living coal from

off the altar placed upon our lips. We want to hear the word spoken, Thine iniquity is taken away, and thy sin

    purged (RH June 4, 1889). (4 BC 1138, 1139)

1 TG 27:8 Since this message announces that the great and dreadful day of the Lord is at hand -- that the

Judgment for the Living is about to begin, and since Isaiah the prophet was given a vision of the Lords moving

into His temple for this judicial work, the prophets experiences while he was yet in vision must, therefore,

represent the experience of Gods servants who are to announce the day of the Lord. His experience and

commission must be our experience and commission. (1 TG 27:8)

Both prophets predicted the experience of the Last day Church. There is no other last day church. The

statement declared: He felt wholly unworthy for the work. What made him esteem himself unworthy? Did he

think himself unworthy before he had a view of Gods glory?--No; he imagined himself in a righteous state

before God; but when the glory of the Lord of hosts was revealed to him, when he beheld the inexpressible

majesty of God, he said, I am undone; because I am a man of unclean lips, and I dwell in the midst of a people

of unclean lips; for mine eyes have seen the King, the Lord of Hosts. (4 BC 1139)

Such prediction perfectly portrays our own experience. From 1996 A.D. up to 2010 A.D.,we zealously cried

out all the abominations in the church, denouncing the sin of others, like Isaiah the time came when we ourselves

exposed to the same condemnation we had pronounced upon them. What made us esteem ourselves unworthy?

Did we think ourselves unworthy before we had a view of Gods glory? No, we imagined ourselves the same as

Isaiah in a righteous state before God: but when the glory of the Lord of hosts are revealed unto us through the

light of the Sanctuary service and construction, when we beheld the inexpressible Majesty of the Universe as He

visits the Earth, like Isaiah said: I am undone; because I am a man of unclean lips, and I dwell in the midst of a

people of unclean lips; for mine eyes have seen the King, the Lord of hosts.

Obviously, therefore, such experience perfectly corroborates with that of 6 TR 42, saying Then after you

have cried out, O Judah, keep thy solemn feasts, perform thy vows. Or in other words, it was predictedbeforehand that after such experience of Isaiah in his vision in chapter 6 fulfilled to Gods people last day church

after they had cried out, that is time by which the prophecy ofNahum 1:15 will then be fully carried out.Now

4 TR 61 Recline no longer, brother, sister: Arise, shine; for thy light is come, and the glory of the Lord is

risen upon thee. Isa. 60:1. Behold upon the mountains the feet of him that bringeth good tidings, that

publisheth peace! O Judah, keep thy solemn feasts [the truth of the sanctuary], perform thy vows: for the wicked

shall no more pass through thee; he is utterly cut off.Nah. 1:15. (4 TR 61)

The voice of Inspiration made it so plain, that the solemn feast is the Truth of the Sanctuary. Now let us

    read

4 TR 25, 26 Just as God chastened her in olden time by permitting Nebuchadnezzar, king of Babylon, toabolish the ceremonial system by destroying ancient Jerusalem and its temple, just so did He chasten her in the

Christian era by permitting Rome to gain control over her and to supplant her true religious system by a

counterfeit -- a pagan priesthood and a pagan sabbath. Then was His word fulfilled: I will also cause all her

mirth to cease, her feast days, her new moons, and her sabbaths, and all her solemn feasts.

Since these ordinances (her feast days, her sabbaths, etc.) were part of a compacted prophecy of the gospel, a

presentation in which were bound up the promises of redemption (The Acts of the Apostles, p. 14), and since

Hoseas symbolization has brought us into the Christian era, the ceasing of the ordinances therefore typifies

Romes supplanting the Truth. Daniel, also, was shown that this was to be accomplished through Rome, the

exceeding great horn, which cast down...to the ground the Truth and the place of His [Christs] sanctuary.

    Dan. 8:12, 11.

Note that the Truth and the place, not the sanctuary itself, were cast down; that is, both Christs Truth

and Hisplace in the earthly sanctuary were set aside, so that the knowledge as to His mediatorial work became

    obscured. (4 TR 25, 26)Let us connect

GC 327, 328 And in the midst of the week He shall cause the sacrifice and the oblation to cease. In A. D.

31, three and a half years after His baptism, our Lord was crucified. With the great sacrifice offered upon

Calvary, ended that system of offerings which for four thousand years had pointed forward to the Lamb of God.

Type had met antitype, and all the sacrifices and oblations of the ceremonial system were there to cease. (GC

    327, 328)

It is clear as sunlight, that only the ceremonial sacrificial system, or the burnt offerings, so to speak, had been

nailed to the cross. Apostle Paul declared:

1 Corinthians 5:7, 8 Purge out therefore the old leaven, that ye may be a new lump, as ye are unleavened.

For even Christ our passover is sacrificed for us:

Verse 8 Therefore let us keep the feast, not with old leaven, neither with the leaven of malice and

wickedness; but with the unleavenedbreadof sincerity and truth.

Inspiration declared: Paul greatly desired to reach Jerusalem before the Passover as he would thus have an

opportunity to meet those who should come from all parts of the world to attend the feast. (AA 389) Upon

receiving warning of the plot, Paul decided to go around by way of Macedonia. His plan to reach Jerusalem intime for the Passover services had to be given up, but he hoped to be there at Pentecost. (AA 390) At

Philippi Paul tarried to keep the Passover. Only Luke remained with him, the other members of the company

passing on to Troas to await him there. The Philippians were the most loving and truehearted of the apostles

converts, and during the eight days of the feast he enjoyed peaceful and happy communion with them. (AA 390,

    391)

Had the holy feasts been nailed to the cross, Apostle Paul together with the believers will not observe and

keep it! Moreover, through the Spirit of Inspiration Apostle Paul admonished us to keep the feasts, not with burnt

offerings, for Christ our Passover is already sacrificed for us But with the unleavened bread of sincerity and

truth. (1 Cor. 5:8) Besides, if the solemn holy feasts had been nailed to the cross, it would be then

incomprehensible to declare that the exceeding great horn supplanted these ordinances, her feasts days and herSabbaths were replaced by pagan feasts during the dark ages, according to 4 TR 25, 26.Here what Inspiration

    hath declared

in Horeb for all Israel, with the statutes and judgments. Behold, I will send you Elijah the prophet before the

coming of the great and dreadful day of the Lord.

You know by now that Malachi, chapters 3 and4, prophetically speak to the people of today, to the people just

before the great and dreadful day, to the people to whom antitypical Elijah the prophet is sent. And what wise

counsel does the Lord give through Malachi? -- He says, Remember ye the Law of Moses My servant. Which

law? -- The law of statutes and judgments which the Lord commanded in Horeb. Since this is Gods faithful

advice to His people of this day, we would do well to restudy this law of Moses, and to remember it, for we

cannot disregard His counsel and still expect His blessings.

Broadly speaking, the law of Moses consists of three parts. The first is the Ceremonial law, the law of the

temple -- the sacrificial law. This law, of course, we today must not observe, except in antitype, for it

foreshadowed things to come, particularly Christs first advent. Thus it is that if we had lived in Old Testament

times and had failed to comply with the sacrificial law and system of that day, we would thereby have

demonstrated unbelief in Christ, Who was to come. But since we are living in the Christian era, if we should now

observe the typical sacrificial law and system, we should thereby demonstrate unbelief in Christ, Who has come.

And so, as this law was nailed to the cross (Col. 2:14), we need not, and must not, observe it now.

The second part of Moses law, is the law by which Israel was to rule its people, the civil, or legal law, -- thelaw which defines what penalty the government should impose upon those who are caught stealing, killing, or the

like. Now, since we as Christians do not have a government of our own, but are still under the governments of the

nations of today, we personally, or as a group are not required to enforce the legal law of Moses either.

The only law of Moses, therefore, that we can possibly be admonished to remember, is the third part of his

law: the moral law, which consists of the things that pertain to us as individuals, the things that we as individuals

must perform, the things that perfect our character, the things that make us a peculiar people. We therefore need

to search out and do the things contained in the moral law of Moses -- The commandments, and the statutes and

    the judgments. Deut. 5:31. (2 TG 37:14, 15)

Let us carefully elucidate such reading, through the aid of Inspiration, by enumerating all the highpoints.

    1. What does it mean by the word particularly? The word particularly is an adverb. An adverb is used tomodify the meaning of a verb, adjective, or another adverb. The word particularly meaning with specific

reference, distinctly a fact particularly mentioned. In an unusually great degree, in an especial manner.

    2. What does it mean by the word except? The word except is a transitive verb. It is to leave or take out, exclude, omit.

With such definition we can thereby safely conclude, that the law of Moses which pertains to the holy feasts

will not to be observe except in antitype. The mere fact that the Shepherds Rod plainly stated Particularly

Christs first advent, plainly indicates that there must be an antitypical fulfillment by which it is not particularly

    specified. The SROD declared:

2 SR 139 The Bible is the revelation of creation and redemption in Christ -- Creator and Redeemer.

Therefore, the Sabbath and the Sanctuary constitute The Truth. (See Hebrews 9:10, 4:4-10.) Thus these two

doctrines are coupled together, cannot be separated, and bear the whole truth.

How do we keep the Sanctuary truth? It is kept, not in type, but in anti-type. By faith we believe that Christ,

our High Priest, in the heavenly sanctuary is officiating in our behalf, as it was taught in type by the earthly

sanctuary, built by Moses. As Israel complied with the requirements of its service in the type, so we must in the

anti-type. Thus we proclaim the truth [Sabbath and Sanctuary] more fully. (2 SR 139)

2 SR 143, 144 Because of sin, the sanctuary truth was added after the fall of Adam. Both truths are of vitalimportance. The Sabbath we keep to avoid sinning, but the Sanctuary truth is to save us after we have sinned.

The one is to keep us from falling, and the other is the remedy if we fall! If, after receiving the knowledge of the

truth, we break the Sabbath, we have sinned and denied the Creator, which is far worse than the sin of Adam. By

noncompliance with the Sanctuary truth, we refuse the plan (or remedy), and reject the Saviour of our Salvation.

    7/10

Read The Desire of Ages, page 165. The Sabbath is a part of the Ten Commandment Law. (Exodus 20:1-17.)

The Sanctuary truth is the law of our salvation, after we have sinned. Adam sinned by eating the forbidden fruit.

Lucifer sinned by setting himself up as a god. Said he, I will ascend into heaven, I will exalt my throne above

the stars of God: I will sit also upon the mount of the congregation, in the sides of the north: I will ascend above

the heights of the clouds; I will be like the most High. (Isaiah 14:13, 14). (2 SR 143, 144)

Consecrated Way to Christian Perfection 3, 4 In the manifestation of Christ the Saviour it is revealed that

He must appear in the three offices of prophet, priest, and king.

Of Him as prophet it was written in the days of Moses: I will raise them up a Prophet from among their

brethren, like unto thee, and will put My words in His mouth; and He shall speak unto them all that I shall

command Him. And it shall come to pass, that whosoever will not hearken unto My words which He shall speak

in My name, I will require it of him. Deut. 18:18, 19. And this thought was continued in the succeeding

    scriptures until His coming.

Of Him as priest it was written in the days of David: Yet have I set [anointed, margin] My King upon My

holy hill of Zion. Ps. 2:6. And this thought, likewise, was continued in all the scriptures afterward unto His

coming, after His coming, and unto the end of the Book.

Thus the Scriptures abundantly present Him in the three offices of prophet, priest, and king.

This threefold truth is generally recognized by all who have acquaintance with the Scriptures, but above this

there is the truth which seems to be not so well known---that He is not all three of these at the same time. The

three offices are successive. He is prophet first, then after that He is priest, and after that He is king.

He was that Prophet when He came into the world, as that Teacher come from God, the Word made flesh

and dwelling among us, full of grace and truth. Acts 3:19-23. But He was not then a priest, nor would He be a

priest if He were even yet on earth, for it is written, If He were on earth, He should not be a priest. Heb. 8:4.

But, having finished His work in His prophetic office on earth, and having ascended to heaven at the right hand

of the throne of God, He is now and there our great High Priest who ever liveth to make intercession for us,

as it is written: He shall be a priest upon His [Fathers] throne: and the counsel of peace shall be between them

    both. Zech. 6:12, 13.

As He was not that Priest when He was on earth as that Prophet, so now He is not that King when He is in

heaven as that Priest. True, He is king in the sense and in the fact that He is upon His Fathers throne, and thus

He is the kingly priest and the priestly king after the order of Melchizedek, who, though priest of the Most High

God, was also King of Salem, which is King of peace. Heb. 7:1, 2. But this is not the kingly office and throne

that is referred to and that is contemplated in the prophecy and the promise of His specific office as king.

Inspiration declared: Obviously, then, as a result of this revival and reformation within the Laodicean church,

another church emerges of which Joshua is in charge, not the angel of Laodicea. (1 TG 8:24) The revival and

reformation mentioned here, must be the one that had been launched from 1929 1955 A.D. within the SDAchurch. Logically, the word result must be after such revival and reformation had been launched, by which it

resulted to the predicted church the eighth in the New Testament succession.

The SROD declared: The first one to be given the garment is Joshua, the high priest, the highest official in

the church. (1 TG 8:23) This church could not be the SDA church (Laodicea), for the one in charge in this

church is Joshua, and not the angel of Laodicea. And since this antitypical Joshua is the high priest plainly

shows that at the time God did raised up this antitypical Joshua the sanctuary services activities are in

    operation.

Let us not however forget, that during the period of the judgment of the dead, only the heavenly sanctuary is

thus affected, due to the fact that it is purely book work transaction according to WHR 20 and3 Ans. 6. Theinvestigative judgment of the dead consequently takes place in the heavenly temple only, whereas the

investigative judgment of the living takes place in the heavenly as well as in the earthly temple. (5 TR 109)

The Bible plainly declared: For if he (Christ) were on earth, he (Christ) should not be a priest, seeing that

    8/10

there are priests that offer gifts according to the law. (Hebrews 8:4) Although there will be no more sacrifices to

be offered after Christs death, but the absolute fact is, during the Investigative Judgment of the living Joshua is

the high priest on the earthly sanctuary the church. With such weighty evidences here amassed there is

manifestly one conclusion possible, that at the time when such judicial activities in the heavenly Sanctuary

extend to the earthly sanctuary the church (3 TR 47, 48) Jesus Christ must be the High Priest in the heavenly

sanctuary, and Joshua is the high Priest in the earthly sanctuary the church, thus both sanctuaries are affected.

The statement As Israel complied with the requirements of its service in the type, so we must in the

antitype. (2 SR 139) The phrase So we must in the antitype, clearly indicates that the antitypical period bywhich such holy feasts to be observed by saying must not observe, except in antitype (2 TG 37:15), by

declaring So we must in the antitype (2 SR 139) implicitly shows by using the pronoun we points out

definitely in our days. The mere fact that V.T. Houteff declared We today must not observe, except in

antitype (2 TG 37:15), definitely shows that such antitypical period did not occur in his days. But the mere fact,

that V.T. Houteff used the pronoun we implicitly shows that such antitypical period by which God commanded

to observe the holy feasts, must be experience by we as Davidian. Now let us read

2 TG 42:41 Nahum 1:15 --Behold upon the mountains the feet of him that bringeth good tidings, that

publisheth peace! O Judah, keep thy solemn feasts, perform thy vows: for the wicked shall no more pass through

thee; he is utterly cut off.

Here you see that the announcement of this long-expected event is to be made by someones publications.

Moreover, he publishes peace and thus announces the restoration of the Kingdom. This is the only peace that the

world can have. There is to be no other. Those who keep Gods solemn feasts and perform their vows shall

have this peace. None others shall. (2 TG 42:41)

There is no dispute that such prophecy is also applied in the days of V.T, Houteff. The same as he who

dasheth in pieces as predicted inNahum 2:1. But Inspiration declared clearly From current developments in

the European theater of war, it does look as though Hitler is doomed. Despite this appearance, however, Nahums

prophecy analytically fits him, although it is possible that someone else may yet step into the picture. (9 SC 1-

12:16) And since V.T. Houteff died before World War II resume, then such someone could no longer be applied

to V.T. Houteff. The pen of Inspiration declared clearly Here we are told that at the time the war is fought

someone is to be publishing inspired revelations of newly revealed Truth, the Truth of the Judgment of the living,

the which is to forever separate the wheat from the tares (Matthew 13:30) (1 TG 3:15) The statement being

inscribed in a present progressive form Someone is to be publishing inspired revelations of newly revealed

Truth, at the time when the war is fought can no longer be applied to V.T. Houteff. Moreover, the message

brought by this someone is to forever separate the wheat from tares by which such message had never been

proclaimed by V.T. Houteff. He categorically declared:

1 Ans. 18 Though the bad along with the good are still coming (for we are yet in the period in which

the wheat and the tares, the good and the bad fish commingle). (1 Ans. 18)

The statement Gods people, Judah, are asked to behold the messenger of God, who at the fulfillment of

this prophecy and at a time broiling with war brings them good tidings of the Kingdom of peace. (1 TG 24:17)In that day He sends His messenger to bear good tidings to His people, tidings of peace while the world is upset

    with wars. (1 TG 15:15, 16)

    Inspiration declared

1 TG 24:19 Most important of all, though, the prophet Nahum plainly tells that all these things take place

in our day, and that the fall of Assyria takes place while Gods people are turning to Him, while revival and

reformation are successfully carried by him who publisheth peace (Nah. 1:15). If we, therefore, fail to take

hold of the message, and if we fail to reform as it recommends, then it is not possible to survive the day of the

    Lord. (1 TG 24:19)

It is clear as sunlight that the predicted Revival and Reformation are successfully carried by him who

publisheth peace (Nahum 1:15), according to Inspiration. And Gods people, Judah, are asked to behold the

messenger of God, in which according to the SROD, the word behold calls attention to something that can be

seen (1 TG 47:18). Thus by scripture and by logic of facts we are carried to the peak of evidence that this

someone must be the inspired messenger who urges Gods people to keep the solemn feasts.

5 Ans. 31, 32IS IT HE,OR ARE WE TO LOOK FOR ANOTHER?

    Question No. 113:

He that dasheth in pieces, as I see it after reading Tract No. 14, War News Forecast, is Hitler. But how can

this be, when he is now getting the worst of it, and the allies are winning the war?

    Answer:

The tract does not by name identify the one who dasheth in pieces. Any conclusions, therefore, that may be

deduced from ones analysis of its contents, can be only inferential and therefore tentative.

From current developments in the European theater of war, it does look as though Hitler is doomed. Despite

this appearance, however, Nahums prophecy analytically fits him, although it is possible that someone else may

yet come forth to carry the prediction to fulfillment. And if during this war the prophecy does not meet its entire

fulfillment, then it must be that the sealing of the saints is yet incomplete, the work of the message unfinished,

the first fruits not ready to stand with the Lamb on Mt. Zion. This seems to be the only hindrance.

So while we do not as yet see the way in which the prophecy will fulfill itself, we are, however, plainly told

that at the time Assyria falls, the Lord will free His people not only from the sinners in their midst but also

    from the Gentile rule.

The Assyrian, though, shall fall with the sword, not of a mighty man; and the sword, not of a mean man,

shall devour him: but he shall flee from the sword, and his young men shall be discomfited. For through the

voice of the Lord shall the Assyrian be beaten down, which smote with a rod. Isa. 31:8; 30:31.

Hence, while the Holy Voice of prophecy declares: For now will I break his [the Assyrian] yoke from off

thee, and will burst thy bonds in sunder, It also commands: Behold upon the mountains the feet of him that

bringeth good tidings, that publisheth peace!... for the wicked shall no more pass through thee; he is utterly cut

    off.Nah. 1:13, 15.

Now is the convenient time, dear reader, to take a firm stand with him that bringeth the good tidings! Do not

    put it off. (5 Ans. 31, 32)

It is an undeniable fact, that everything pertains to the prophecy of the book of Nahum as well as to Isaiah did

not as yet reached into its perfect fulfillment. Obviously therefore if there should be another someone to step

into the picture to bring the title he who dasheth in pieces, it sounds illogical to declare that there would be no

another someone predicted in 1 TG 3:15; 1 TG 24:19. The holy voice of Inspiration made it so very plain, that

at the time when the war is fought (resume), God send His messenger in order His people will survive the Great

and Dreadful day of the Lord. The statement Now is the convenient time, dear reader, to take a firm stand

with him that bringeth the good tidings! Do not put it off. (5 Ans. 31, 32) Plainly indicates that at the time whenthe War is resumed, the possibility of getting in avalanche is apparent. Unless you act at once it will be too late

to acquire knowledge and zeal; and with the ignorant and the lukewarm you will perish in the overflowing

    scourge Isaiah 28:18 (3 SC 11, 12:5)
