Hitler took over Poland, Czechoslovakia,

Austria and France. Hitler was very mean and selfish, pigheaded. He wanted to take over the whole

Evacuation

In the war time children got evacuated from there home.They were sent to a different

part of the country. Some children liked where they were

stay and children didn't like where they were staying

The Blitz in London

London was bombed by the Germans.Many buildings were ruined.

People were evacuated.

Gas Masks

Gas masks are good when a gas bombs goes off. Gas masks are very uncomfortable. You

had to have your gas mask at all times.

Ration Books

You always need to have your ration book with you if you by some thing. When they bought

something people who worked in shop would stamp your book. When your book was full

you would have to wait till next week.
