True to its name, Sachdeva Global School has always been successfully integrating a global dimension to its curriculum. A global recognition of the outstanding development and integration of the International dimension in its curriculum has been the International School Award by the British Council yet again for 2018-21.
SGS continuously promotes a culture of sensibility, sensitivity and collective responsibility to the environment and the society. SGS has been a part of the Green School Programme of The Centre of Science and Environment since 2013. This programme aims at recognizing the efforts of schools at reducing consumption of resources. SGS has been the prestigious winner of the Green School Award many times. This year too, SGS has been declared a winner amongst 1696 schools nationwide, a feat which is truly praiseworthy, given that our school is a completely air conditioned one!!
I would specially like to mention that amongst this year’s new initiatives, we have completely banished plastic from our cafeteria and other areas of use. Also we have begun the in house automation of the switching systems of our classrooms to save energy. This is being done by our Computer Science students of Class 9-11. Scholastic and co scholastic clubs are spaces for the students to bring out their creative genius. This year we introduced two new clubs of baking and carpentry, both of which have seen high membership and enthusiasm amongst the students. The Indian Music and Dance Clubs have been proud to have a large number of students securing distinction in the Hindustani Classical Vocal Music and Kathak Examinations, held in collaboration with Prayag Sangeet Samiti, Allahabad. The students of the Western Music Club continued to bring laurels to the school by securing distinction in examinations of all grades in Piano, Guitar, Drums and western vocal music in association with the Trinity College of Music, London.

uccessful people are not gifted; they just work HARD !!
Mayank Saraswati of class XI brought the school to limelight by being adjudged “Voice of Dwarka” in the senior category by competing against 400 melodious voices in a singing competition organized by Dwarka Welfare Association.
Adheesh and Adheet Nandkeolyar of Class XI were part of a record attempt by 35 budding artists in making “Replica of the old Rupee 500”. The
team of “Limca Book of Records” recognized it as one of the biggest and most unique attempts to make Old Currency with so many artists on one canvas.
A special mention due is to Ariv Sharma of VD who has published his first book at the tender age of 10 years, thus giving wings to his linguistic flare and making his teachers and the school proud.

Believing in a strong foundation of values and ethics, our curriculum structure and design lays a huge emphasis on value education. Apart from regular classroom enforcement, The Awakened Citizen Programme, a three-year graded value education module in collaboration with the Ramakrishna Mission, New Delhi, which has been a part of our school curriculum for the past 5 years has now been recognized by the CBSE as a compulsory value education programme to be implemented in all schools. In addition, a plethora of age appropriate workshops, seminars and symposia to inculcate life skills as well as personal and social sensitization is a regular part of a student’s life here at SGS. In this self actualizing journey towards excellence, we are incessantly guided, motivated and supported by our Chairman and our Managing Committee; whom we can never thank enough. Our parent fraternity continuously applauds us and joins hand in our progress. No wonder then, that with every passing year, we are moving closer towards our vision of being an effective and meaningful educational institute. I request all stakeholders of this grand institution to continue to dream big… so that the flag of Sachdeva Global School flies taller and prouder.
