The year 2019-20 was remarkable in many ways as we have able to serve more number of women and supported them in strengthening their livelihood options. We have also explored new partnership and collaborated with new financial partners like Sammunati and Usha Finance, at the same time we have to strengthen our partnership with existing financial partners like Milaap, FWWB and Saath Savings. The Coronavirus pandemic (COVID 19) and the nationwide lockdown at the end of the financial year i.e. March 2020 have disturbed the operations in every sector including co-operative sector across the globe. The savings and collection of The Saath Mahila Saving and Credit Co-operative Society have also got affected because of the pandemic. The Saath Mahila Saving and Credit Co-operative Society Limited are always blessed to have members, staff, board members from different sector of development, who have always trusted co-operative and supported in its day to day activities and are also supportive even during the pandemic. The learning of the year has provided us with the opportunity to explore new options and work towards taking co-operative to the next level. All i.e. community women, staff and as well as board members are committed to upscale our existing system and reach in the coming year. I would like to thank staff, Board members, Advisors, Financial partners for having trust in co-operative and its work. I cannot forget to express my gratitude to the women from the community, without whom our existence and success would have not been possible. Lastly would like to thank Mr Smit Lad, an intern from IIM Rohtak for compiling and designing the annual report. With Best Regards Shyam Prakash Singh
CEO, The Saath Mahila Saving and Credit Co-operative Society Ltd.
