The terrace is a mix of decking, pebble and star jasmine on trellis gardens and features a gazebo which is ideal for wedding ceremonies and looks amazing covered in fairy lights.
Hiring the Rooftop Terrace includes use of the adjoining Norman Shieff meeting room which opens onto the deck through two sets of French doors. Also included is the use of another small meeting room which is perfect for caterers or storage, and use of a small kitchen.
The terrace comes with some outdoor furniture and large sun umbrellas.
RatesHire Cost
Rooftop Terrace Full Day Hire (10 hours) $2,300.00 plus GST
Rooftop Terrace Half Day Hire (5 hours) $1,350.00 plus GST
Additional Hours $210.00 plus GST per hour
Security $60.00 plus GST per hour

The terrace is available on Monday through Thursday from 5pm until midnight, Friday from 5pm until 1am, Saturday from 9am until 1am and Sunday 9am until 11.30pm.
One security guard is included in the venue hire rate. Security is required for the entire rental period and the security guard will be responsible for opening the building and locking up at the end of your event. Certain events may require an additional security guard which will be charged at $60.00 plus GST per hour.
A one off standard cleaning fee of $200.00 is included in the venue hire rate to reinstate the terrace and adjoining rooms to their original condition and to remove bottles and rubbish. If the venue is left in a state which requires additional cleaning or a carpet clean these charges will be passed on to the hirer.
Catering Catering is available or you are welcome to bring in your own caterer; a small kitchen and meeting room are available for catering. The kitchen has a sink, boiling water and a full size fridge/freezer which can be used.
You may supply your own alcohol. Deliveries can be made direct to the venue or you may wish to purchase and organise through your caterer.
EquipmentThe hire of the terrace includes the use of outdoor furniture, seat cushions and outdoor sun umbrellas.
There is a retractable sun awning which extends from the Norman Shieff room which can be used.
The Norman Shieff room and Kitty Tong room have a number of indoor tables which can be connected and configured in many ways. There are also 40 indoor chairs which can be used inside.
All glassware, plates, cutlery and any decorations will need to be hired, we are able to organise the hire of equipment and installation of fairy lights, lanterns, draping or marquees, please enquire for pricing.
Terms and ConditionsBOOKINGTo secure your preferred date a deposit of $300 is required.
CAPACITY The maximum number of guests allowed on the Rooftop Terrace is 100.
BEVERAGESYou may supply your own alcohol. However if you plan to sell alcohol at your event a liquor licence is required and can be obtained from the Auckland Council.
PAYMENT TERMS• On receipt of a signed confirmation form a deposit
invoice will be issued.
• Deposit payment is due within 7 working days of the invoice being issued.
• A pre-event invoice will be issued 8 weeks prior to the event date where possible. Full payment of this invoice is required at least 30 days (including weekends) before the event.
• Post event the deposit will be returned in full, if the rooftop terrace, building and chattels are in a satisfactory condition. Any additional fees or charges will be deducted from the deposit or invoiced if the charges are above the deposit amount.
• Payment can be made by credit card, cheque or direct credit to our bank account.
PRICE VARIATIONSPrices quoted for events booked 12 months or more in advance, may be subject to change at our discretion.
GSTAll prices quoted are exclusive of GST.
EQUIPMENT We will take all reasonable care with equipment supplied by the hirer; however any loss or damage to equipment will be the sole responsibility of the hirer.
Hirers are responsible for the removal of their own property and merchandise after the conclusion of their event. In some instances it may be possible to store items until the hirer can pick up.
Hirers are liable for any damages caused to the premises or equipment, either by the hirer or their guests.
CANCELLATIONSAn event is able to be postponed - pending availability of dates - if requested up to 30 days (including weekends) prior to the original event date. After this time any date changes will be considered a late cancellation.
Cancellation after the deposit is paid and within 30 days of the event will mean your deposit is retained. Cancellation or postponement of the venue hire within 29 days (including weekends) of the event will lead to the full payment amount being charged /retained. Failure to pay the full final amount will also lead to the deposit being retained and legal action to recover the charges.
