- Makes themselves available for clinics consistent with local area needs

Role of the Instructor

• Provides area referees with new rule modifications and recerts, etc.

- Focus instruction based on USSF emphasis; local feedback from assessors, Area Directors of Instruction and Assessment

- Instruction focuses on grassroots application

- Why focus on elbows to the head when 98% of your referees are doing U8 games – Shut down the Hypothetical artist

- Meets recert or upgrade requirements; schedules assessments goes to clinics, etc.

Role of the Referee

• Provide service to teams applying knowledge of rules to games

- Makes themselves available

- Action plan with Assessors and Assignors about objectives; follow up

- Follow up with referee about action plan

Role of the Assessor

• Evaluates performance of referee with current guidelines etc.

- Provides feedback to referees, assignors, and area instructors

- Identifies rising stars to Assignors, SRA, LAC etc…

• Develop a feedback mechanism for every Instructor, Referee, Assignor, and Assessor

- Volunteers to come up with Pilot Program; Funding from SRC
