Physical Features/Description

• Yellow eyes

• Tail longer then body

• Gray

• Long muzzle

• Thick furry coat

• Tails are black and white

• Size of small dog

Habitat

• Only lives in South West Madagascar

• Spends lives time on the ground

• Open brush where few trees grow

• Forests with a grassy floor

• With a group up to 40 members

Diet/Behavior

• Eats leaves , shoots , pottos , bush babies flowers , fruit , lizards , insects , birds , sometimes birds eggs , small mammals

• Communicates with grunts , meows , sometimes barks

• Babies ride on their moms back

• Fights by jumping and scratching

• Sharp noses

• Social

• Territorial
