Crowne Plaza to open new Expo Center on June 20.

At this recent meeting, assignments were discussed and reports given as time nears for the August reunion. Our class reunion will be among the first events to use the brand new Expo Center. This beautiful facility will be the site of the Saturday night dinner/ dance. Initial plans call for the cocktail party to be held on the back patio (shown here). The swim-ming pool area where the Friday reception will be held is within sight just beyond this photo on the left. If you’re planning to stay at the hotel and enjoy the convenience of everything for both days at one location, be sure to ask for the special room rate when making reservations.

The Reunion Committee is pleased to announce that plans have now been finalized. All activities will again be held at the Crowne Plaza Resort

( behind Sam’s Club on Patton Avenue: Friday, August 7 6pm.

An informal cocktail party will consist of light hors d'oeuvres and a cash bar. We will meet by the swimming pool. If weather doesn’t cooperate,

we’ve made arrangements for an inside room. Arrive on time, plan to stay late! Catch up with friends from all 3 classes.

Saturday, August 8 6:30pm.A special buffet will be followed by a dinner dance. Dress is casual. A

cash bar will be available before, during, and after dinner. Music will be provided by Tuxedo Junction (Joey Moore, class of 1969) and will feature

lots of music from the 60’s.Surprises are assured with this large group of classmates!

If payment is received by June 1, the cost is $70 per person. Payments sent after June 1 should reflect $75 per person.
