Forbes scandal: Charles Forbes, Harding’s close friend and director of the Veterans Bureau, was believed to have pocketed millions of dollars through dishonest schemes.
Teapot Dome scandal: Secretary of the Interior Albert Fall was convicted of accepting bribes and therefore jailed.
