DESCRIPTION
For more than a century, the purpose of The Red & Black, the independent student newspaper at the University of Georgia, has been about giving students the education needed to excel in the realm of professional journalism and business. For most of those decades the necessary skills – advertising sales, reporting, writing, designing and editing – were practiced and passed down from student to student at the award-winning newspaper.
