The objectives of the RAINS-Italy project

Italian Agency for New TechnologiesEnergy and the Environment

RAINS-NL Workshop, Bilthoven, February 3rd, 2005

1) Development of an Integrated Assessment Model, on national scale withthe same features of the RAINS-Europe Model, for policy analysis purposes

3) Adaptation of the RAINS structure to the Italian Administrativeregions

4) Inclusion in RAINS-Italy of a number of Large Combustion Plantsindividually considered (Power Plants, Refineries)

2) Atmospheric Chemistry and Pollutant Transport based upon a national developed eulerian modelling system
