Gyratory crusherGyratory crusher terdiri dari penumbuk berbentuk kerucut yang bergetar didalam mangkuk berbentuk kerucut yang lebih besar.

Gyratory Crusher Components

The base is the section of the crusher that provides an entry point for the drive assembly and oil system.It also provides support for the working surface of the main frame and liners.

The baseThe mantle which is the movable working surface,is pivoted at its top within a spider bearing under the cap of the spider arm assembly while the bottom is gyrated within an eccentric bushing which is powered by the driver assembly

The MantleThe drive assembly of a crusher may be directly driven from the motor or have a clutch system to absorb shock.This will depend upon the size of the equipment

The oil systemThe principle of workGyratory crusher memiliki sumbu tegak,main shaft, yaitu tempat terpasangnya peremuk yang disebut mantle atau head,digantung pada spider.Sumbu tegak diputar secara eccentric dari bagian bawah,sehingga eccentric sleeve,mengakibatkan suatu gerakan berputar mantle yang selalu mendekat ke arah shell.Mantle berada dalam shell yang berbentuk kerucut yang membesar ke atas, sehingga membentuk rongga remuk, yaitu crushing chamber antara concave atau shell dengan mantle.Mantle bersama sumbu tegak bergera secara gyratory dan memberi gaya kompresi kearah shell. Gaya kompressi ini akan meremuk bijih dalam rongga remuk.
