Advanced AMI Testing and Configuration Functionality

Legacy meter record systems were not designed to support the extended testing functionality of AMI Devices. As a work-around, utilities have been forced to use the conventional accuracy test points of Full Load, Light Load, and Power Factor for devices that require extended test functionality.

WNE is the first meter test automation system to address full AMI configuration and test procedures. Using the WECO patented Dynamic Sequence and Test Processing, it is now possible to configure a device to meet specific AMI metering requirements and verify the configuration under those test conditions by using WECO’s 4000 series test equipment. WNE supports all 4000 series test functionality, providing detailed history of any test requirements needed.

WNE can capture any conventional KWH Test, as well as Demand Test, 4 Quadrant Test, Harmonic Test Accuracy, or Disconnect Test configurations under load. Meter Shop Customizable Management Capabilities

From the meter shop to the field, WNE is feature rich with customization options for everyone along the path. Among the constantly expanding feature list are Sticky Notes, Mul-timedia Functionality, and the Management Dashboard in-cluding the helpful Dashboard Widgets Manager. The WNE Sticky Note is an electronic alert which can be as-signed to any device for downstream processing, providing specific tidbits of information regarding a device, over a cer-tain period of time. This allows users to retrieve the tidbits for future reference. When the device arrives at another test station or returns from the field, a Sticky Note can convey useful information to the next person in the custody chain. Another convenient feature WNE provides is full multimedia support with the ability for any device, site or circuit identifier to link documents and photos to the item.

NISC Billing Data Capabilities

Updating your billing system can be done in real time with the NISC and WATT-Net Express integration. Using Web Services and the industry standard Multispeak interface, WATT-Net Express can update your NISC system with your meter test infor-mation - with zero mouse clicks.

Audit and Certification Traceability

Now when a problem is detected with a testing operation, the WATT-Net Express traceability functionality can assess the risk and determine what is needed to correct the damage.
