The law about the exercise of prostitution is meant for:
a) intensifythewaytofightagainsttheforcedprostitutionand against all other forms of exploitation in the milieu of the prostitution;
b) assure the achievement of the measures of prevention and the sanitary and social supervising in this domain;
c) make clear the restrictions for the exercise of prostitution on the street, and this to maintain the public order.
This law is applicable in all forms of prostitution.

1. Authorisation to stay and authorisation to work
A foreign person, who wants to exercise in the prostitution in the canton of Fribourg has to obtain an authorisation to stay and an authorisation who allows the exercise of this activity.
A particularly procedure told announcement, is planned for a foreign person who is issued of a UE State or AELE State, which is coming to Switzerland for less than 90 days in a civil year, as an independent worker.

2. Announcement
Persons who practice in the domain of prostitution in the canton of Fribourg must have made an announcement in the police services:
Police de sûreté FribourgPlace de Notre-Dame 21700 Fribourg+41 26 305 19 19 (announcement only with an appointment)
Modificationsandalsotheendofthisactivitymustalsobeannounced at the police services.
Note:For the announcements, a valid identity card or passport must be presented.
The places those are available and assigned for the practice of prostitution in the canton of Fribourg are submitted to an authorisation.

Note:The person who has this authorisation has also the obli-gation to hold a register of the persons who practice the prostitution in their places.
