Symbols are the representation of a person, place, or thing. There are symbols attributed to nations in flags, banners, and yes even Presidential campaigns. The Power of Symbols to Represent Ideology.

Did you see the opening to the movie the Da Vinci Code? The hero gave a presentation of symbols. The visual reaction to these symbols was immediate in the responses of the audience. Symbols are visually powerful. Symbols express and reflect ideas with simplistic graphic form. Symbols are the representation of a person, place, or thing. There are symbols attributed to nations in flags, banners, and yes even Presidential campaigns.

President Obama had a symbol for his campaign. That symbol was placed on bumper stickers for cars, buttons, hats, pins, t-shirts, and many other types of memorabilia. This was the symbol to represent the Barack Obama supporters.

Imagine my surprise that after the campaign, the election, and the inauguration I read that the Obama Campaign Logo is a reverse, minus a lightening bolt of the Weatherman Underground Logo. I couldn’t believe it. I didn’t believe it. I had to find out by my own research if this statement in the book I was reading was correct. The book is titled, “Barack Obama: the unauthorized biography-by Webster Tarpley”.

I had listened to Sarah Palin refer to Barack Obama’s connection to Bill Ayer of the Weatherman Underground. No one paid much attention to her. The media had already made her out to be a stooge, air headed, and incoherent beauty queen packing a pistol. How would a bimbo know anything? Of course it was no holds barred to make Sarah Palin look bad with dirty tricks, but no one should touch the celebrity Obama and his family. The press slammed down hard that Barack Obama was only eight years old when Bill Ayers and the Weatherman went on their unpunished and violent reign of terror and bombings. Of course that is a fact. What the press did was distort and twist the details. In fact there had been quite a relationship with Bill Ayers and Barack Obama. Bill Ayers, a spoiled rich kid that got away with terror unpunished, is now a Professor of Education. He is a professor that still does not regret terrorist action of his youth. Bill Ayers the spoiled rich kid and Bill Ayers Father a fabulously wealthy and powerful Chicagoan met frequently. The Ayers funded Barack Obama’s career from organizer, to State Legislature, to U.S. Senator, and campaign contributions for the Presidency.

There is the point that money from the Ayers family, and the Ayers connection may or may not have anything to do with the man, Barack Obama.

The symbolism of the logos does make me shudder and wonder just what is going on in the mind of President Obama and why did the press fail to reveal this visual representations of logos to the American People.

When I shared these logos with a friend of mine, he was as shaken as I was. I quote him, “This is most interesting. A black swastika or a purple swastika is still a swastika.” I believe most Americans immediately will recognize the symbols below regardless of their colors.

Page 2: The Power of Symbols to Represent Ideology

What are you thinking when revealed below is the Obama Logo and next to it is the Weatherman Logo?

Symbolism is powerful. The first logo represents the President of the United States, Barack Obama. The second logo represents the group known as the Weathermen Underground, a vicious and violent underground terrorist group in the late 1960’s and early 1970’s.

Did the media purposely withhold this visual ideology from the American public during the presidential campaign? Is President Barack Obama smiling at his one over on the American people? Can we ask why did President Barack Obama use this symbol for his campaign? Please don’t tell us it was the same ad agency or graphic artist.
