Thank you Clark County!!
Thanks to the generosity of our supporters and the Clark County Community Foundation, Partners In Education was able to raise $23,131 during the 2016 Good Giving Challenge! This money will ensure that we can continue to support our schools, staff and students for another school year. Our staff could not be more grateful for this wonderful sup-port from our community and we will continue to strive to make a difference in our Clark County Schools!

oral, sterile, biologic and inhaled dose forms for clients around the world.
Opened in 1992, our Winchester facility has evolved into one of the industry’s premier sites for advanced oral controlled-
release drug formulation and manufacturing, with integrated analytical and development services. The site currently employs
more than 500 people and has launched more than 100 products for Catalent’s pharmaceutical and consumer health

In April 2015, we announced the completion of a $52 million expansion at the Winchester site which saw the doubling of its
footprint to 180,000 sq. ft. The expansion features newly installed fluid bed capacity, expanded analytical laboratories, and
an advanced, open facility design that provides flexibility in supporting the requirements of our new customer programs.
The expansion was completed in response to increased customer demand for the manufacture of complex, oral solid
formulations. The Winchester facility has more than 20 years of experience in product development, technology transfer and
commercial manufacturing, and has produced over 3 billion tablets and capsules annually.
FIRST TERM COMPLETED!
Our staff has the pleasure of working with volunteers from our community who are willing to give their time to speak about their expertise to interested classes. We have been able to provide 13 different classes with a speaker who corresponded with what they were studying at the time and so far we have received overwhelmingly positive feedback from our teachers! Paul Rogers, from Cedar Creek Engineering, volunteered to speak to Mr. Toy’s classes about engineering and this is what Mr. Toy had to say afterwards:
Thank you all so much for having Paul come over yesterday. I got to see some of the kids after he left and they absolutely loved it. A lot of them were asking questions about engineering and he really set the stage for us to start discussing more physics at this level. We are very grateful!

We are always looking for new experts, so if you are interested in volunteering to speak please contact Carolyne Richtarsic at [email protected]. Thank you to all of our community members who have volunteered their time to help us support our Clark County Schools!
Partners In Education has partnered with Leggett & Platt to offer juniors and seniors from the ATC a co-op opportunity. This past year we had three participants, who combined to work 588 hours. Each student had their first performance evaluation this past December, and all three of our students received a raise! This raise was based on performance, attendance and completed training
The students’ parents have had a chance to tour the facility and have been very pleased with the experience that their children are receiving. The first year has been such a success that the ATC and Leggett & Platt are hoping to be able to expand the program and have more students participate in coming years.
PIE is always on the lookout for ways to offer our students more opportunities, so please let us know if you or your company are interested in partnering with our schools in any capacity.
WE HAVE MOVED!!

Thank You Clark County Fiscal Court Fund
Partners In Education received a $2000 grant from the Clark County Fiscal
Court Fund to help students from low-income families afford age appropriate
books! Because of this grant, PIE was able to donate $500 to each elemen-
tary school in Clark County. The schools will be able to discreetly give it to
students who would otherwise be unable to afford books.
