THE PIATTI STORY
With their open kitchens and stone pizza hearths, each Piatti reflects the warmth, charm
and welcoming atmosphere of a traditional Italian trattoria. Although each Piatti has its
own character and ambiance suited to its specific locale, all are characterized by simple,
unpretentious design, rustic yet flavorful cuisine and friendly service. Piatti restaurants
are gathering places where friends, family and neighbors eat, drink and socialize while
enjoying the sense of community found in Italy’s ever-popular trattorias.
Since our founding in 1987, Piatti ensures that each location is a unique experience,
suited to its surrounding. Piatti managers and chefs are encouraged to personalize their
spaces and menus to meet the needs and desires of their customers and staff. Like their
European inspirations, the Piatti restaurants are intended to be part of the community.

Booking Time Frames
Our lunch time frame booking is 11:30-3:30. We also serve brunch on Sunday’s only from 10:00-3:00. We do allow you to come in 1 hour prior to your guest arrival to do any decorating. We do not allow anything on our walls but there are hooks above the French doors in the private room that you can hang a banner from.
Dinner time frame is 5:00-10:00. Please note that 5:00 is the earliest we can have the room ready if you want to come in to decorate prior to your guest arrival.
Tuscan Room
Our private Tuscan room seats 30 comfortably and 38 maximum. If you are doing a projector & screen setup for a seminar it will seat a maximum of 24 with no backs to the screen.
It has a cozy fireplace and French doors that open up to a small balcony that overlooks the front courtyard
Mediterranean Room
Our semi private Mediterranean room is part of our dining room. It seats 50 comfortably and 60 maximum. It has a cozy fireplace and overlooks our beautiful patio
Patio
During the spring and summer months weather permitting, our patio is a peaceful garden setting under the redwoods with a large fountain and romantic lighting at night.
The patio seats 60 comfortably and 70 maximum.
Our patio can also seat up to 30 people at the top half with diners on the other half.
The patio & Med room combined can seat up to 100 comfortably & 120 maximum.
In addition to a sit down event, all locations are also great for mingling style cocktail party
Dining Room
Our dining room can seat up to 20 people maximum for a sit down event with no mingling space or room for extra tables. We do require parties of 14 or more to use our banquet menus
Special Fees
Piatti offers an exciting selection of Italian and California wine. Pricing subject to change without notice. If you choose to bring your own wine, corkage fee is $18.00 per 750ml bottle.
Piatti offers wonderful dessert but if you prefer to bring your own the fee is $3.00 per person.
Screen rental is $25.00 & does not apply towards the f & b minimum.
Extras
We can recommend florists, balloons, rental equipment….etc. Just ask!
RESERVING THE SPACE
Deposit
A $200 deposit is required to book any of the private & semi private rooms. The deposit will be charged once the reservation is confirmed and will be deducted from the final bill the day of the event.
Deposits are non-refundable if cancellation occurs less than 10 business days of the event date. Our receipt of the signed contract and credit card deposit is considered a confirmed reservation. In May, June & December the deposit is $500 and non-refundable if you cancel the event. The deposit would be non-transferrable if you change the original date after completing the booking if we are not able to re-book the date.
A $200 “security” deposit is required for parties of 14 or more in the dining room. The deposit would only be charged if the reservation was cancelled after the cancellation date.
Food & Beverage Minimums
There are no room rental fees for the private banquet areas. There are varying food and beverage expenditures to book the rooms privately. Minimums are based on food and beverage consumption expenditures before tax, 5% event fee & your suggested gratuity and vary depending on day of the week, time of day, or time of year. May, June & December the minimum charges are higher. All un-met minimums will be charged as an un-met minimum on your final bill.
Payment
All hosted items will be tabulated on one check and presented to you for your verification, signature and payment. An event service fee of 5% & “your” suggested gratuity will be applied along with 8.25% tax to the total bill & all non-hosted beverages. Payment is due in full on the day of the schedule event.
In order to facilitate payment at the close of the event in an efficient & timely manner and to avoid confusion and billing errors, we do not allow separate checks for parties of 16 or more.
For parties of 16 or more that do require separate checks or non-hosted beverage events we can accommodate by bringing in an additional server. There would be an additional $200.00 service fee.
Menus
As it assists our kitchen with large parties we do require parties of 14 or more to use our banquet menus. Menu pricing and items are subject to change as our chef creates them seasonally.
We’ve designed our banquet menus to give you the most flexibility and options when planning your special event. We offer 3 different lunch menus including a quick business lunch option and 3 dinner menu options.
Your selections will be created on a menu with the date and personalized menu heading of your choice and your guests will order from that menu the day of the event.
We are very “kid friendly” and offer a kids menu for 12 & under.
