The Holy Spirit gives me faith in Jesus as my Savior

4. God wants everyone to be saved. Those who reject the Holy Spirit’s call are lost by their own fault.

1. He helps me to grow in knowledge and understanding of the Bible. (“enlightens” me)

2. He produces good works of gratitude in my life. (“sanctifies” me)

3. He keeps me in the true faith by His Word and Sacraments.

In short, the Holy Spirit sanctifies me
