Sarah, 29, from Hastings has changed heroutlook on life thanks to an entire dentalmakeover. Sarah, who works for in the publicsector, hadn’t exactly planned on this but aproblem with an old crown prompted her toseek a full consultation on all her teeth.

Following a treatment plan proposed by DrHanna of The White House Dental Clinic Sarahnow has amazing teeth - a true Hollywoodsmile. This is her story:

Why did you decide to have the procedure?I was incredibly conscious of my smile andbecause of problems with tetracycline stainingthe enamel of my teeth was weak and verydiscoloured. When an old crown on one of myfront teeth broke I decided to do somethingmore permanent about it. I was always veryself-conscious about my smile. In fact, I reallyhated my teeth.

What was the first step?I did a lot of research into dental clinics in thearea and finally decided to visit The WhiteHouse clinic in Eastbourne. It has a goodreputation and lots of experience in cosmeticprocedures. During the first consultation, Dr

Hanna explained a range of options available tome and also what outcome I could expect. After some thought, I decided to embark on anentire dental ‘up- grade’!

What was your treatment?I had veneers put on most of my teeth. A

veneer is when a thin layer of tooth-colouredmaterial, usually porcelain, is fitted over adiscoloured tooth. In total I had four veneersfitted on my lower teeth and a further tencrowns on my upper teeth.

How long did it take? Around three months from start to finish orfive appointments in total.

How do you feel and look now? I feel great and my teeth look perfect. Eventotal strangers have commented on howfantastic my teeth look. It’s a real confidenceboost!

Are you happy with the results? Yes, I certainly am. My teeth are straight, whiteand really perfect. Dr Hanna also correctedmy bite during the treatment too. I couldn’t

have asked for a better outcome.

Given the opportunity, would you do itagain? Most certainly. It is the best thing that hashappened, in respect of my teeth. I used todread looking at photos of myself because ofmy teeth. That’s all changed now thanks to DrHanna and the staff at The White House DentalClinic for the great care and attention.

How did you pay for the treatment?I had some savings of my own which I puttowards the treatment and the balance I ampaying monthly on a 0% finance plan providedby The White House Dental Clinic, so it’s nottoo painful at all.

What advice would you give to someonelooking to achieve the same result? It is important to establish exactly whatprocedure is proposed, what experience thedentist has in this field of work, the total costof the treatment and what the alternatives are.You will be spending a lot of time, effort andmoney, so be sure that you know what you aregetting at the end of the treatment.
