Order of Service Prelude “In Christ Alone” “I Stand Amazed”

Welcome

Call to Worship Psalm 136

Worship in Song “Here Is Love”

Worship through Giving Children ages 3-1st grade are dismissed for Jr. Church.

Worship in Song “Christ, the Sure and Steady Anchor” “Oh the Deep, Deep Love”

Message “Loving Earnestly” 1 Peter 1:22-25 Pastor Dave Emmons

Response “How Deep the Father’s Love for Us”

1 Peter 1:22-25

22Having purified your souls by your obedience to the truth for a sincere brotherly love, love one another earnestly from a pure heart, 23since you have been born again, not of perishable seed but of imperish-able, through the living and abiding word of God; 24for “All flesh is like grass and all its glory like the flower of grass. The grass withers, and the flower falls, 25but the word of the Lord remains forever.” And this word is the good news that was preached to you.

MISSIONARY UPDATE

Rick & Lisa Caynor: (ABWE -Spain) We have been very blessed by joining a wonderful group of Christians in El Campello. They are the "Christian Community in El Campello” (CCC). When we arrived here, the church had grown from eight people to 65-70 in the last 3 years. When we ar-rived, there was one service with translation and a few empty chairs. During the summer we had to move to two services because of limited space with one Spanish service and one in English. Since we have done that we have grown to standing room only in both services. God is working here in a very special way. We need help at CCC! Maybe you are interested in serving short term with the English or Spanish ministry, or both! Rick is now a part of the Leadership Team at CCC. God is working, but we are all overwhelmed. The needs are great, and we are praying for more laborers. Many of you know that Kristin is here serving for six months. Please pray for her ministries and her future as she looks for God's calling. Rick is traveling to Thailand Jan. 25-- Feb. 15. During his time there, he will have a one-week team meeting with our ministry team and partners from the region. He will also visit the pre-cious refugee families we have helped the last five years. Please pray for Lisa while he is gone. On March 3, we are preparing for a baptism at CCC. Right now we have two individuals from The Netherlands. Pray for clear direction as the leader-ship team at CCC looks for a pastor to serve here. Our monthly financial support has dropped in part because of some increased needs as well as losing some support. Please pray that God provides the "daily bread" needs for our ministry. JANUARY SUNDAY SCHOOL OFFERING: Your contributions this month will go to Jason and Rose Beedon serving with CRU-Bridges International at University of Buffalo to help with expenses for an international student conference.

2018 was a wonderful year of blessings from the Lord. As you can see, we controlled our expenses to be under budget, but the blessing came through the giving of our faithful generous body here at Grace. We ended the year on paper up over $17,000. But it was much more than that, two other large gifts came in that covered the costs of the waterproofing on the front wall and the labor on the metal roof project for a total of $27,000. We were also given a much newer model bus to use for church activities. We have an awesome God!
