What is Greek Mythology?
Greek mythology encompasses the
body of myths and teachings of
the ancient Greeks. These myths
focus on gods and heroes, the na-
ture of the world, and the origins
and significance of their own cul-
tural practices and beliefs.
What is Celtic Mythology? I t is
the mythology of the religion of the
Iron Age Celts. The Celts had a pol-
ytheistic mythology. This mythology
did not survive beyond the Roman
Empire due to the loss of the Celtic
languages, however, many Roman
and Christian sources helped to pre-
serve the myths.
