Furthermore, the game advocates mental health but it does not claim to be therapeutical
or in any way related to medicinal practice.
Summary
The Otherworlds is a metaverse of play-to-earn games on the Binance Smart Chain that
strongly advocates mental health and well-being. Each game in this metaverse is
considered one of the "Other" worlds. In the first game of the metaverse, players will
earn HopeCoin and NFTs through harvest by farming, loot in adventure or combining
items together.
Setting
The "Real" World
• A black and white central commercial hub for players to do transactions using
HopeCoin.
• A common area for players to meet, chat and trade in the future.
• Players travel to the Otherworlds from here.
The Other Worlds
• Each surreal colorful world represents a game in the metaverse
• Players can earn HopeCoin and NFTs in here
Gameplay
There are 3 main gameplay mechanics for the 1st world: Farming, Adventure and
Alchemy
Farming:
Farming is the main perspective of the game in terms of its play-to-earn feature. Players
will get yield in a certain amount of time depending on a variety of factors.
Farming follows the following formula:
Land + Seed + NFT + Mask = Yield
Each of these components have a maximum status of 25 which when added together
forms 100, representing 100% chance of a harvest/yield tier. Let’s look at each of the
factors.
Harvest/Yield Tiers*
• Legendary 2000HC*
• Epic 1200HC*
• Rare 400HC*
• Uncommon 100HC*
• Common 20HC*
Yield will also produce crops of different types depending on the seed that you planted.
For example, a Legendary Buhnene Harvest will give the player 2000HC and also 5
Buhnenes to be used in Cooking.
Land:
Land is a non-consumable component in farming. Every new player gets 4 free basic soil
at the start of the game. They then have the option of adding land by depositing HC and
BNB, basically providing liquidity to the currency pair. The quality of soil they get
depends on the amount they provided. When they feel like they don’t need that
particular land anymore, they can choose to withdraw their deposit and get back their
HC and BNB.
Below are the land tiers and their HC price values and harvesting time*.
• Basic Soil - 800HC, Harvest Time 4 hours *
• Rich Soil - 1500HC, Harvest Time 3 hours *
• Magical Soil - 3500HC, Harvest Time 1 hour *
• Miracle Soil - 5000HC, Harvest Time 30 minutes *

Seeds:
Seeds are consumable items used in farming. Seeds can be bought in packs at the village
store. The packs have the following chances of tier level:
Good Quality Seeds – 50% chance
High Quality Seeds – 30% chance
Great Quality Seeds – 15% chance
Perfect Quality Seeds - 5% chance
Seed prices vary depending on the type of plant you are buying. As a basis here is a
template:
4 seed pack - 400HC*
8 seed pack - 700HC*
12 seed pack - 1100HC*
Factors in seed yield stats are determined by its quality and its plant type.

Are seeds NFTs? No
NFTs:
NFTs play a major part in farming, although they are an optional addition to the yield
chance percentage, the extra maximum 25% of NFTs is not negligible.
• each plot of land can fit one NFT as a yield booster.
• NFTs are not consumable items, they can be transferred from plot A to plot B
depending on player strategy.
• NFT stats are hidden except for The First Ones NFT
Masks:
• Masks are equipable items that aside from aesthetics, have effect on yield.
• Masks will affect yield of all land plots
• Mask stats are visible
Cooking
Upon harvesting of crops, the player can then go inside the house and use their crops to
cook it into something usable. For example, a crop is cooked into a dish that replenishes
HP during adventure mode.
In order to cook, player must have the following:
1.) Ingredients (Crops) for cooking
2.) A recipe for the dish which you can either buy the basics with HC from a shop or
acquire the rarer recipes in adventure mode.
3.) Coal, which is acquired by collecting 1 piece of wood and “burning” it with HC.
As of the time of writing this, a player can only cook 1 dish at a time. Cooking time will
vary depending on the recipe.
Adventure
When players go out of town, they can go to adventure mode. In adventure mode,
players encounter monsters and gain loot and HC by defeating them. Players can also
discover hidden items, NPCs and quests when going on adventure mode.
Adventure mode has 2 options
1. Random adventure
2. Quest Adventure
Random adventure
Random adventure pulls a random map out of an array of maps, each map has a
different setup with different chances of monsters and items. Bosses may appear on
random adventures.
Quest Adventure
All adventure related quests must be done in Quest Adventure mode. Main, side, and co-
op quests will be done here.
Monster appearances
Each monster on adventure mode will have a designated spawn rate for example a
common monster may have a chance to appear 95% of the time, while a boss monster
can appear 0.22% of the time.
Alchemy
Players can combine certain items to generate new items from it, they can also melt
items for HC. This allows players to melt loot that are not related to harvest, for
example, an item they found in an adventure.
NFTs
Official NFTs
NFTs are primarily used in-game as a non-consumable yield booster in farming, another
use case is being a quest item. NFT tiers are classified as following from highest to
lowest
• Collector edition
• Gold Edition
• Limited Edition
• Base Edition
Community NFTs
Each month, top 3* voted community submitted NFTs will be included in the NFT
marketplace and can be used in-game as a yield booster. Community NFTs will not have
tiers.
Music NFTs
A unique feature in The Otherworlds is the addition of music as a usable item NFT in
game. They will be used same way as NFTs are used as a yield booster or a quest item.
This opens a whole world of possibilities in promoting OPM and also international
music.
Other Media NFTs
The same with music, other media such as videos, and text files can be used as an in-
game item.
Normal In-game items
Aside from NFTs, there are also normal game items for different use cases such
aesthetics and farming tools.
Advocacy
The Otherworlds is not a simple play-to-earn blockchain game. The community and the
dev team are strong advocates of mental health awareness. As we say, it’s not just play-
to-earn, it’s also play-to-save lives.
With our official hashtag #GameForMentalHealth, we strongly believe in the power of
gaming in raising not only awareness but an understanding of the importance of mental
health, especially in times like these.
The game will feature staking for mental health, in which players can stake HopeCoin in
order to donate to mental health institutions.
Also, we believe that a happy planet equals happy humans, that is why we will also have
tree planting staking features in the game.
This staking feature will be implemented by putting a special designated plot of land in
the player’s farm where the player can choose to deposit HC and BNB for the advocacy.
HopeCoin
HopeCoin or HC is the in-game currency of the Otherworlds, it will be used for buying
items, staking, NFTs, and transactional fees. It is also the central entity in the play to
earn functionality of the game.
