openPG Administration
• Purposely, openPG 1.0 administration follows the PMU-centric configuration paradigm established by frame based protocols – This approach assures easy reconstitution of data into C37.118
and assures interoperability in today’s typical synchrophasor architectures.
– Allows openPG to consume C37.118 from external sources as well as internal ones.
• With new versions of the openPG, simpler configuration options will be allowed to reduce configuration burden

Typical Gateway Integration
The openPG Manager must allow all gateway inputs and outputs to be configured.

6. Create openPG Outputs • An “output” is a data flow from the gateway to
internal systems. • A PDC is a typical output so that external phasor data
can be time synchronized with internal data • The openPG has internally facing data bus that by
default has all points available for internal system subscription
• Data can be pulled from the openPG real-time data bus with provided C#, C++, or Java Adapters – By GUID – By openPG Point ID – By functional grouping
