Where the man is without fear,And peace is omnipresent.Where sorrow doesnt existAnd happiness is still existentWhere culture embraces technology And tradition has scientific methodologyWhere religion has no identityAnd the mankind exists as one entity.Where there is no darkness of the rogueAnd self-enlightenment is in the vogueWhere excellence is worthy than success,To that paradise my lord,Let each man awake.

Mother Never DiesDedicated to all whose mothers are not with them

    My FatherBy Harsh(3409) X-D

My father, I inherit my prudence from,Always solves the problem with wisdom.

Whenever I have a problem for a while,He solves it with a charming smile.

When I commit any mistake on my way,He cautions me to amend without delay.

He is my friend and shapes me like pitcher,Very seriously playing his role as a teacher.

To me, he is a life-long inspiration,Which I proclaim without any hesitation.

Everyone prays to God for wealth in vain,But I pray for my father who understands me and my pain.

    A Students GrouseCompiled By Shivam (2528) & Harsh(3409)

    If a barber makes a mistake, It's a new style.If a driver makes a mistake, It's a traffic problem.If an actor makes a mistake, It's a new dialogue.If a dancer makes a mistake, It's a new step.If a designer makes a mistake, It's a new design.If a team loses the match, It's a captain's fault.If a doctor makes a mistake, It's too late.If a politician makes a mistake, It's a new law.If a scientist makes a mistake, It's a new invention.

But, if a student makes a mistake, Why does it remain only a mistake ...?

Says the teacher ..Don't let it remain only a mistakemake it a new learning

Blooming National Unity In Diversity By Pranayani Magan (469)/XI A

  • The Vidya Vihar Times : Official Magazine of Vidya Vihar Residential School, Purnia | Oct 2016 Edition

India is a very good example of national unity in diversity. In India, there are many customs and culture which make it "INCREDIBLE INDIA.There is a common saying for India , Kos Kos par pani badle, dedh kos par boli. This shows a typical type of diversity of languages. In spite of diversity in India, there is unity among the people. During the freedom struggle, all the Indians united to fight against the despotic rule of British East India Company. National integration is very important for the growth and development of a nation. Therefore, we must pay attention to it and maintain national integrity. Inventions and InventorsCompiled by - Aayushi Tiwari (440) | XI A

Today, Science is a subject of debate in every nook and corner. We can hear people debating on the topic,"Is science a boon or a curse?" This is all because of various inventions that have been made by the inventors. It has made our life easy and comfortable. On the other hand, some have pushed the world in chaos, death and destruction. Lets talk about some of the inventions which have shaped the modern world.

    * Adhesive tape - It was invented by Richard G. Drew. His very first invention was a masking tape which was invented to help the painter in 1923. In 1930, he invented Scottch Brand cellulose tape. It was an all purpose tape which was adopted world wide.

    * Air Plane - The first airplane was invented, designed and flown by the Wright Brothers. It was named as the Wright Flyers. The two propellers were supported by 12 horsepower water cooler engine. It was first flown on 17 December, 1904 for 12 seconds.

*Aqualung - It was invented by Jaquese Yeaves and Emile Gagan. It helps the divers to stay underwater for several hours by supplying adequate oxygen. It is a modern scuba system.

    * Dynamite - It was invented by Alfred Noble. It was

the first safely manageable explosive. It is used for mining, quarrying and construction and demolition company. Later it was misused to kill people and create terrorism.

In spite of all these advancements and progress in science and technology, we all must take care that we do not disturb and harm the ecology of our mother earth. Earth has given us life so we must respect and love her.

Who is she?By Raushan kumar singh(2484)

She is tortured and oppressed, But keeps her feelings suppressed.

She works and cooks and hides her pain,When we struggle she pulls us out again.

Pushing her away and ignoring her advice,Telling her shes nothing, without thinking twice.

Making her cry is a game to us, Without realizing how much she cares for us

She swallows her pride, puts her ego aside, Tolerates our flaws and takes our side.

This is the time when teachers are supposed to offer support to our young generation to pull them out of that. Apart from providing educational strength, a teacher must provide emotional and moral strength to their students. This will strengthened the bond between the teacher and the taught, which has been weakened by this techno savvy world.
