July already! Hard to believe. June was a great month at the lodge. Flag day was an moving ceremony. Thank you to all who helped walk the flags in, and to the DOE’s for their wonderful ceremony. It was also great to have one of the major events that we missed last year, the DOE’s Presidents Ball. Congratulations to Kathy Klonglan! Now we look forward to July, I will be off to Grand Lodge in Tampa the week of July 4th. Unforgiven on the patio on the 9th. July 17 is the ER Ball. I am so looking forward to this night. Another step towards normalcy. It’s going to be a great time. July 31st is the return of Margaritaville! Monday, June 14 was an extra special day, we held initia-tion for 9 new Elks! It’s always good to welcome new members to the lodge. Please consider inviting your friends and family to come down for an event, dinner, to play pool, or cool off on a hot day. Let them know about all the charitable work that we do and the fun we have. Ask if they would be interested in joining our lodge. Membership matters, we can’t do it without you!
