EVOLVING PHYTONUTRIENT SCIENCE Previous science has shown that plants provide antioxidant compounds that directly neutralise free radicals in the body. However, evolving phytonutrient science has expanded on this understanding and shown the elevated importance of the body’s own antioxidant defence system, which is activated by other phytonutrients through a control system known as the Antioxidant Response Element or ARE. Certain plant phytonutrients seem to work better than others.

MORE PHYTONUTRIENT BENEFITSThe next generation of DOUBLE X® contains phytonutrients from all five colours of the phytonutrient spectrum. It contains several proprietary concentrate blends, such as the legacy AWPS (Alfalfa, watercress, parsley and spinach), the Citrus Blend and the new Berry Blend. All five colours of the phytonutrient spectrum provide numerous health benefits.

The Global Phytonutrient Report, developed by the NUTRILITE® Health Institute, showed that there is a global short fall of all colours of the phytonutrient spectrum but especially the purple spectrum. Based on this research, NUTRIWAY® DOUBLE X was formulated to provide an appropriate balance of the five colour phytonutrient spectrum to help fill phytonutrient gaps that may be present in some people’s diet.

This next generation formula now contains more phytonutrients from the purple colour spectrum containing extracts of Grape, Blueberry, Elderberry and Blackcurrant.
