THE NEW ILLUSION

New Illusion is not just a product update but a completely new

design full of useful product innovations. The new design makes

clever use of the same non-slip hinge technology found in the

successful 10mm EauZone Plus doors. Using 8mm door glass

the New Illusion is lighter and the off-set hinge system gives

New Illusion the widest possible entrance space. The handle too

is new - neat and flush fitting when not in use and a delight to

touch when opening the door, with a friendly damper assisted

return.

New Illusion comes in two versions – one with integrated shower

tray and one for fitting onto a wet room floor or existing shower

tray. If you choose the integral shower tray version, you will be

assured that everything has been carefully designed by Matki

to fit neatly together for a perfect installation with the panel

glass fitted securely into a channel in the shower tray. The glass

securing channel in the shower tray not only adds stability to

the installation without the need for a door bottom frame; it

also provides a seamless and water tight installation, without the

need for silicone sealant along the glass and tray. New Illusion

without integrated shower tray offers huge flexibility in sizes

and is perfect for an on-the-floor installation or for replacing an

old tired shower enclosure or a wet room panel.

Whether your bathroom is large or small the New Illusion Quintesse is probably the most beautiful and efficient corner

shower surround available. The superbly angled glass panels make the most of light and space without the need for

framework, leaving an open feel to the bathroom. The centre opening door is cleverly located to give unhindered access

to the shower leaving the rest of the bathroom to be designed without limits.

• Polished Celtic Silver anodised frames, mirror polished stainless steel top frame and brass

hinges. Suitable for power showers.

• The New Illusion with Integrated Shower Tray has panel glass securely inserted into a clever

sealed channel in the shower tray, eliminating the need for silicon sealant along the glass

and tray junction.

• Choice of handle design: Soft Return Handle (standard) or Traditional Chrome handle (please

specify).

• Trays have an integrated tiling lip on wall sides for a secure tray-to-tile seal and come with

a Fastflow shower waste with stainless steel grill. Optional Raised version available, supplied

with adjustable legs and front cover panel in white only. Raised tray adds 100mm to height.

The New Illusion Recess comes with integrated shower tray or without a shower tray – the choice is yours. The with-

shower-tray version can be ordered in the sizes listed opposite and has the benefit of an innovative glass channel in

the purpose designed shower tray which gives a secure and watertight fit without the need for silicon sealant along the

glass and tray junction. Where the with-shower-tray dimensions do not suit or where fitting onto an existing shower

tray or on a wet room floor the without-shower-tray version is equally suitable. A small unobtrusive mirror polished

bottom frame is used on this version for a watertight and secure installation as shown on page 9, top left and page 17.

listed opposite and has the benefit of both the inline panel and the side panel being securely inserted into an innovative
