The New Hobbit Hotel can easily cater for any size celebration: from an intimate wedding of 10 guests, to a full-on dance-all-night celebration, with up to 120 evening guests.
With 30 unique, country-chic, en-suite guest rooms in the hotel, you could extend your wedding celebration into the next morning. Some of your guests, especially those who are not local, may consider staying at the New Hobbit Hotel for a mini-break to see you off in style the next morning, as you both head-off across the valleys, into the sunrise for your romantic honeymoon.

The New Hobbit Hotel is an ideal alternative for your Civil Ceremonies, particularly if you want to reduce the amount of travelling time, and increase the amount of celebration time. We would be delighted to exclusively host your civil ceremony. Book exclusive use of the hotel, and we will ensure there will be no other weddings on your special day.

Our Function Suite is an ideal choice when it comes to taking full control of matching our venue to your personality and wedding theme. The New Hobbit Hotel is the perfect choice for creating a memorable wedding story.
The New Hobbit Function Suite
Our rustically chic function suite will suit a small intimate wedding, or an elaborate display of your great romance. Make use of the large fire surround to add a touch of elegant style to your reception.
Accommodates up to 80 guests for your civil ceremony and wedding breakfast. Should you wish to expand your evening guest list, we can clear the tables, creating space for up to 120 guests in total.
Making sure you and your guests are well-fed with a tasty and memorable menu, is something the New Hobbit Hotel takes pride in. You can be confident we will make your guests will feel like part of the family, throughout your special day.
Our signature is in our tasty home-cooked local food! Our menus are created with local providers in mind, so you can rest assured our outstanding food, created using the freshest, highest-quality, seasonal ingredients, will enhance your day as a result of the service New Hobbit Hotel offers on your behalf.

We can help you carry on the celebrations into the morning. For any of your guests who would like to stay, New Hobbit Hotel is proud to boast 30 contemporary and cosy bedrooms, at a preferred rate available on request, offering a modernised home-from-home experience for you and your guests. We can also offer you exclusive use of the whole hotel.
We have ample parking on site to ensure your stay is as easy as possible. All our bedrooms include free Wi-Fi, Freeview TV, Hairdryer and complimentary toiletries, and an iron with ironing board, and our uniquely designed, hand-crafted wooden console table, created using the natural beauty of a one of our own trees.
Honeymoon SuiteThe New Hobbit Bridal Suite is a beautiful place to begin your new life together. Featuring Parisian style chic, with a super king-sized bed, beautiful dressing table, and a bathroom which will take your breath away, we do all we can to provide you with a special start to the next chapter of your romance.

We know how stressful the planning of a wedding can be, so let our team help with their wealth of experience in wedding planning. We will look after the details on the day, so you can relax and enjoy living in your personal fairy-tale.
Sometimes there are little extras you might want to add, to make your day feel that little bit more reflective of you. We will do everything we can to support what you hope your day will look like. Don’t hesitate to dream it – who knows what we can make come true!

Contact our wedding coordinators to book an initial conversation to find out how the New Hobbit Hotel can help your story take shape.
Our first conversation is a no obligation opportunity to explore together what your dream day could look like. To give you peace of mind, we will hold your chosen wedding date for fourteen days, giving you freedom as you explore all your options and think carefully about what you want from your day. This way, you won’t have to worry your day will become booked out after you leave our first meeting.
Should you decide New Hobbit Hotel will form part of your relationship memories, we will require formal acceptance of our agreed confirmation, and payment of the £500 booking fee. Six months before your day, we require 50% of the outstanding balance, followed three months later by 75% of the balance. One month prior to your wedding, the final payment is due.
You will be assigned a specialist wedding coordinator, who will also be on hand to answer any questions you have, and ease the pressure of organising your big day, and will meet with you as often as you need to put the finishing touches in place, meaning you won’t need to think about anything on the day itself, except turning up and saying, “I do”!
