The PDB 411M is a new, high performing drop seal alternative to the traditional spring seal. It offers an all-in-one, durable, complete door bottom sealing solution for acoustic, fire / smoke, security, energy and pest control.
The PDB 411M differs from traditional spring drop seals in two distinct ways:
It uses an award-winning arm controlled mechanism to offer a consistent, controlled, unilateral downward pressure across the entire sealing bar
In a market first, it incorporates a unique composite sealing bar (aluminium bar with EPDM rubber shrouding) which creates a market leading, robust and resilient seal
Due to the internationally patented design (UK PCT Patent No: EP 2890857 / US PCT Patent No: US 8,925,250 B2) the PDB 411M can successfully adjust to uneven floors and fluctuations. It also requires a low closing force which ensures the door set maintains its optimum functionality.
The PDB 411M has no acoustic equivalent on the market. It is also the only independently operating drop seal which offers a security advantage.
